Tbf, I think most people know who “the club” refers to on these issues. These are decisions being made at the top level.

a) not issuing new seasoncards for 6 years
& b) putting in policies that alienate seasoncard holders by restricting friends & family next season & threatening fans who don't attend 10 games in person.

I'd like to know who's clever idea it was to change a system that worked for the majority of seasoncard holders

The club is a general term. I don’t have a problem with that, even though it is wrong. The correct term is the directors. Ultimately the directors make the decisions that effect and impact the fans. The club and the employees implement those decisions. There is a distinction.The directors are soley responsible for what is happening with-in the club, and with the fans.
 
All this shit those running the club are creating for long term fans is even harder to understand given that ticket income is such a small percentage of total revenue. Fucking lunacy in fact.

Ferran, if you're reading this, or one of your minions are, treat City fans with respect and get another fucking sponsor to cover any tiny little shortfall. Stop being a twat.

My main support has always been for the fans, owners/directors and players can change it's the rank and file that are the heart and soul of the club.

As time goes by and Disneyland looms even closer on the horizon it appears my loyalties aren't or haven't been misguided.

The directors is a general term. I don't have a problem with that, even though it is wrong. The correct term is the executives.

They are the ones solely responsible for what is happening within the club, and with the fans.

Unless you think the likes of Simon Pearce and Martin Edelman are discussing ticket prices.

The people you are talking about are executives. They may give themselves the title director, they may even call their meetings board meetings, but they aren't Directors of the club. Don't let the club convince anyone they are talking to the Board. They are not.

If some jumped up jobsworth **** from the club demands me to “explain my difficulties”, they’re going to have to “explain their difficulties” in removing said season ticket from up their arse to the receptionist in A&E.

They have put layer upon layer of faceless bureaucracy in front of you so you have nobody to complain directly to, they can change any rule to fuck you about without having to worry about any comeback mate.

So Danny Wilson is the Director of Operations. We should blame him then.
 
The club cannot sensibly use the excuse of we need to free up tickets by taking seasoncards away. There are literally hundreds of unsold tickets for each home game bar maybe United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

They are also refusing to reallocate any natural wastage seasoncards currently. They have 7000 extra seats to fill from January 2026, yet are talking of only allocating 1,000 of them as seasoncards.

We need 9 ticket agencies to tout the our current level of match day sales..... and we still don't sell out.

In short, he just wants rid of the very fans who have kept this club alive. He views us as having zero income potential and is quite prepared to see countless empty seats as long as they are occasionally filled with tourists, who, will spend hundreds of pounds on their visit. It's as simple as that! There just isn't any more financial juice to be squeezed from the same 50,000 tight arse dried up mancunians. He wants fresh fruit, and us old prunes can basically do one.

For me, I won't be at all concerned if we lose the FFP case and are relegated. I want these clowns out. Yes, there will be people who say, "well, what about the success they have brought?", well frankly, if it was on the back of cheating then it's tainted anyway and they will have not only have made our club hated by other fans, but their current antics are making our own fans hate the club too! That by any standards is incredible.

In short, I want this club back as the club that the people of Manchester can be proud of, and more importantly, afford to support!

They’ve had this before and not touched hardly anyone’s season card.

I think they have brought this up again because the Ticket Exchange (partly due to offering 12 refunds) is overwhelmed with Blues listing their tickets. Ticket transfers (often a good thing) and no shows are in their multi- thousands.

Not me but plenty of fans have complained about “being surrounded by tourists” that’s likely to be a consequence of a zero attendance requiring season card.

As I’ve said many times, I wouldn’t have brought this in now.
