Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

I thought I’d share a season ticket story with the group.

I have recently moved house and after much deliberation I decided it was no longer feasible for me to travel to home games (8/10 hour round trip) so I reluctantly decided to give up my season ticket.

Thirteen days ago I emailed fan support at the Club asking them to cancel my ticket. Four emails and a phone call later I still had no response so in the end I had to contact the Club’s Head of fan support. Last Friday I had a call from the Club who confirmed my ticket had been cancelled.

I was paying for my ticket by direct debit and had already made three payments totalling £135 but as there had only been two home games I had “spent” about £50. I assumed that as I was £85 in credit the Club would refund my money. Wrong - they are keeping it. They actually told that they were entitled to demand full payment for the season ticket and we’re doing me a favour by only keeping the £85.

It saddens me in many respects to see what has happened to the Club I have supported for over 60 years. It’s clearly all about the money these days. I hope they invest my £85 well !

On X that you can transfer tickets today to other season ticket holders
You can download your season ticket on 2 devices apparently
So if you can’t go another phone can be used it’s in the terms and conditions

If supporters actually read the Terms and Conditions for season tickets nobody would risk buying one. It’s heavily favoured towards the vendor (club) and I’d be surprised if lots of it was deemed unreasonable if legally challenged. I’m guessing most clubs’ terms are similar.

Sorry that you’ve had to give up your ticket but if anyone from City is reading this, get a grip please. Fans’ circumstances change all the time, sometimes multiple times a season, but you’ll risk never winning them back in the future if they leave pissed off. Turn their “credit” into something they can use to pay against future matches, keep the possibility open.

With another 7000 seats to fill soon, you’re going to need those lost fans.

Know we have a thread somewhere, but not finding it.

Since wolves has anyone had to collect away tickets personally at arsenal or brighton

What's the point in that they already have a season ticket.
It's lads who have been priced out.
Driven away that needs a ticket.
Given there ticket up but fancy going to the odd game .
They need a ticket.

I've got my dad's ticket on my phone.
He's logged is on his phone as himself downloaded his ticket.

I've logged in as him on my phone and downloaded his ticket.
I went against spurs.
He went last week all fine.
Last week my phone did an update.
My bank card had to be put back into my wallet on my phone
My dad's ticket has disappeared from my wallet.
The spurs game and old games are in the archived passes in my wallet.
But latest game isn't.

Apparently you can only download the ticket twice so I can't do it again .
My dad's away a lot so I need to use his ticket so he doesn't loose it.
But I can't make to much fuss as I have my own ticket but someone uses it all season.

Can he add me as a friend or what ever it is in this window for transfer.
What a farce

Why did you not use the ticket exchange.

I don't understand the problem here. My sympathies lie more with the club after reading that.

Cheers
They don’t make things easy do they.
Anyone know if I remove the one I’ve added would I be able to start again or have I messed up for this window
