So if you can’t go another phone can be used it’s in the terms and conditions
If supporters actually read the Terms and Conditions for season tickets nobody would risk buying one. It’s heavily favoured towards the vendor (club) and I’d be surprised if lots of it was deemed unreasonable if legally challenged. I’m guessing most clubs’ terms are similar.I thought I’d share a season ticket story with the group.
I have recently moved house and after much deliberation I decided it was no longer feasible for me to travel to home games (8/10 hour round trip) so I reluctantly decided to give up my season ticket.
Thirteen days ago I emailed fan support at the Club asking them to cancel my ticket. Four emails and a phone call later I still had no response so in the end I had to contact the Club’s Head of fan support. Last Friday I had a call from the Club who confirmed my ticket had been cancelled.
I was paying for my ticket by direct debit and had already made three payments totalling £135 but as there had only been two home games I had “spent” about £50. I assumed that as I was £85 in credit the Club would refund my money. Wrong - they are keeping it. They actually told that they were entitled to demand full payment for the season ticket and we’re doing me a favour by only keeping the £85.
It saddens me in many respects to see what has happened to the Club I have supported for over 60 years. It’s clearly all about the money these days. I hope they invest my £85 well !
What's the point in that they already have a season ticket. On X that you can transfer tickets today to other season ticket holders

I don't understand the problem here. My sympathies lie more with the club after reading that.I thought I’d share a season ticket story with the group.
