Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Well since 1968 and after 56 years of following City and having a season ticket, I have had a message telling me that I can no longer renew my season ticket but can apply for a flexi-gold ticket if I want. Severe Crohn's Disease 11 hospital admissions and 7 operations in the past two years has caused my partner and me to miss too many games (6). We have used the ticket exchange previously last year, but on a few occasions this year haven't had time as I have gone in as an emergency, or its been the lowest of our priorities. The email says that they have been unable to contact me to discuss, but I haven't had any contact from the club. My details have never changed in the past 25 years. I did email a fella called Danny Wilson in October / November but didn't get any response. That was to let them know that I was ill and was worried about this happening. We travel over 100 miles return to get there and when I studied I was travelling over 250 miles for every game. Grew up in Moss Side and its always been my club. It has never been a hassle and it is part of my / our life. I am not sure that I am angry, I actually feel really sad and got a bit tearful when I read the email. I won't be doing the flexi-gold thing. I have always had a ticket, went home and away for 14 years and have always been proud to say I am a blue, even when we were poor. I got to Istanbul and have never missed a final so have my memories. The world is changing in many ways and its wearing me down......
Jesus Christ. This is appalling treatment. Anyone defending the club over this wants fucking.

Surely someone at the club can look into this and reverse this obvious travesty.

Such a shame, but I guess this is the type of club many want us to be.

Christ, what on earth have we become? This is no way to treat people, never mind loyal supporters like you.

That's bloody awful and disgusting way to treat a 'proper' supporter

it was an example I could post last year's but I chose one when it was only 1 page .I really don't get why anyone thinks that not attending most games is acceptable.
Acceptable to who? Why does it matter if the seat can be used by anybody who wants it?

Contact supporter services and explain your situation. I find messaging them on X (formerly twitter) gets a reply during normal working hours. I've had to resend a message recently a couple of times but they did eventually respond.

I hope they think about that banner last night too, because frankly the dad and lad demographic get fuck all consideration when it comes to ticketing. I take two kids to matches come rain or shine, school the next day or not. But because I waited until I was in a position where I could attend regularly to even try and get a season ticket, I’m on a flexi and the likelihood is my kids won’t be offered STs of their own, for now. Which means we’ll be stuck on an obscene ‘under-18’s’ price for them, and for me, the £150 flexi tax on top, as between a match missed while working in London, the mrs wanting me around on Boxing Day and the weekend of Valentines Day when we played Newcastle, and us taking our holidays in August because it’s cheaper for a family of four, I come in two games short of the limit to be offered a full ST - and the fact me and the kids will have been to every home CL game and every FA cup home game on top of that, plus the women’s derby and EDS games, counts for nothing.

You were doing so well. Then….
“as between a match missed while working in London, the mrs wanting me around on Boxing Day and the weekend of Valentines Day”

You want shooting!

Anyone else still waiting for their renewal email from the club? My daughter has had hers but nothing has arrived with me so far.
have you logged on to your account to check your email address is correct? and checked your spam/junk folder?
Just log on and go to the season ticket at the top and 'renew'

Just called up direct 0161 444 1894 option 1 and option 1.

Value Gold are available for the lone wolves.

£330 on Direct Debit.

I know the club gets a lot of shit but you can’t complain at that. £17.36 a game.

And you can still list your tickets etc if you can’t go.
This is no place for positive City stories, are you mad ;-)

According to some of the clowns on here you are probably denying another supporter from using your seat!

This story leaves a sour taste. I hope you get sorted out. It makes me question if I want to renew my 3 seats for next season.

Are you an existing ST or flexi gold member, or are tickets open to anyone?

Sorry to hear this , if I was you I'd try to ring the disability team at the club and explain your situation , they have always been very helpful and sympathetic when I've had dealings with them , hope you get it sorted and all the best , the club needs loyal supporters like yourself mate.

I have renewed today and I would now like to relocate my ticket on Friday 19th May, along with my pal who sits next to me.
Problem we have got is he is away in Japan on that date,so he will be unable to relocate his season card on line.
Does anybody know/advice me if I can relocate the pair of us at the same time.( He is on my friends and family list ).
Cheers in advance if anyone can help me.

Is there any info anywhere about first season cards (flexi golds) for juniors who have only been able to attend when there is a seat available to buy somewhere in the vicinity of where your existing season card is? That's how we've been taking my Son for last few years but it's a tedious process of having to hope people will move to let us sit together (currently 2 seasoncards next to each other). Often end up buying a ticket in the same stand and him having to not use the seat and sit on my knee which is getting hard at nearly 7
All the email said was that the details would follow after the renewal window closes which I believe is the 11th. Reading between the lines we should then get information before the relocation window (which you may need to do) opens on the 16th.

Last season you had to 'register your interest' before being offered one but unsure if they will do the same this time.

Cheers mate, I remember that now from last Year, annoyingly my emails weren't coming through so never received anything after I registered interest. I do remember saying it was a bloody nightmare as they relocated next to an empty seat 5 times and still couldn't get one for their kid as it had then been relocated into once they had confirmed their choices, its really difficult.
