Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Resign and send a message to club.

Regulation is on the way. The club will have a statutory duty to work with fan groups.

Only then can there be a balance in the power. Until then, the club are taking the piss out of them and the meetings they hold with them.

Angela isn’t going to resign.
She’s now being featured in videos for City.
Talk about a conflict of interest.

I wonder if the plan for anyone who doesn't do the 10 games is for them to be made to move to a flexi card until they get back to the 16 games that allows you to move back to a season ticket.
If they did that to me, my plan would be to tell them to shove their flexi card right up their arses

Does Sheikh Mansour attend 10 games?
Does Khaldoon Mubarak attend 10 games?
Do all the directors attend 10 games?

Do they FUCK!

Think Sheikh Mansour got confused with the criteria. Instead of 10 games a year he thought it was 1 game per 10 years. Presumably he's been able to keep his season ticket as he always uses the exchange.

What are the exemptions for the 10 game rule? Students on a year abroad as part of their course, pregnant women, those with mental health issues, shift workers, young kids for whom evening kick off are too late for them, those who don’t drive and there is no public transport home, long term illness just as the season starts, the list is endless. This isn’t about ensuring seats are filled, this is about getting as many season cards back in the hands of the club to sell on a match by match basis and generate more money. The board doesn’t want local support, they want the day tripper. Our owner has been to one game in 15 years, not a great example to set. The club need to stop treating us like shit otherwise I foresee bigger demonstrations and plenty of empty seats. If the slow ticket sales for the semi doesn’t ring alarm bells then I am not sure we have the right people in charge any longer. As for the SC rep on CM, is anyone surprised by her lack of engagement?

I've been week in week out & my sons seat has been filled every game so you're having a pop at the wrong people.

I have mentioned my medical reasons for hating the new 10 game personal attendance policy because my son is at Uni & isn't able to attend games. So like many others he's getting pushed out, which will mean my 30 years of following City, travelling up from Southampton for the last 15, will be dead in the water.

The criteria for ticket exchange is changing for next season, where you have to nominate 3 people on your friends & family & the rest have to have a paid membership which I will presume is the £35 citizen membership.

City get rid of the ticket exchange & with the personal attendance, they will be able to force the majority of fans who aren't attending the big 6 games to sell it back to the club if they haven't already revoked the season ticket.
I don't believe City bosses are trying to degrade City's seasoncard memberhip. That would be stupid.

Perhaps City should create a moratorium for students allowing them to buy back in.

Brilliant.

And he gets to sit in the directors box.

At least the season ticket price freeze means he can afford to renew his season ticket next season. A season ticket he never uses.

They will be given a choice by the club. Cancel you gap year in the Far East and Australia, and don’t lose your season ticket.

Piss poor decision making from the club this, just shows how they don’t listen to us fans. My dad is in his 80s & got some mobility issues. He finds it difficult to get to games all the time due to transport, weather, kick off times or just his health. He always puts his ticket on the ticket exchange when he can’t make it as, in his words, he wants other fans to be able to watch us!! My mum isn’t too well at the moment & getting to go to city is his thing, gets him out & about, lets him forget about the daily shit… he was already thinking about giving up & we’d just about got him to agree to keep it on the basis that he could pick and choose his games & if he couldn’t make it, can throw his ticket back in for someone else… got the feeling this might be the final nail for him and that makes me so sad.

My son is a shift worker. 4 on 4 off. A mix of 12 hour days and nights. It could fall that he can go every game. It could fall that he can go to less than half. He’s 25 and has had a season ticket for 20 years. I can guarantee that his seat never has, or ever will be, left empty. A family member always takes it if he can’t go. He’d be gutted to lose his season card.

Are there that many people who buy a season ticket yet intend to go to 9 games or less?
Probably not, but obviously people’s circumstances change. And the fact that you will never get a season ticket back if you give it up makes people reticent to do so.

There are numerous anecdotal examples already on here and Twitter of people who have been season ticket holders for many years, but have fallen ill/had a kid/been laid off/going to uni/working abroad/working shifts etc. Should they have to forfeit years of loyalty because of a temporary change in circumstances?!

It’s a horribly thought out policy by the club, and the sooner they retract it the better.

He won’t lose his season card mate.

Get a cheap phone and use it only for the ST. If he can’t go, just give it to a family member. If people start doing this, they then don’t even have to be members and your son attends all 19 games…….

Such a simplistic question.. There are lots of reasons that a person may not be able to get to games..

I wish I had nothing to worry about besides football.. I really do

I’ve emailed the City Matters guy.. if this rule had been effective this season I’d have lost my seat

Will he have to appeal to keep his season ticket?

I get told I'm losing my season ticket, I'm walking away not begging for forgiveness.
I’ve heard Danny Wilson explain the process Ciry go through and it’s very supportive. They don’t take anyone’s season card without giving the Blues a proper chance to explain their difficulties. In fact they hardly ever take anyone’s season card for non attendance.
