My phone has NFC and it would work at the bus/shops but not at the turnstile, however I went to turnstile P this afternoon and the NFC worked. The turnstile has a bar code reader as well.

Did they have a camera as well? If so, clear sign that facial recognition will be introduced soon...

I didn't notice that. I meant to take a photo of it but a couple of staff came over when they saw me approach the turnstile and it put me off looking. All I remember was that when I put my phone next to the sensor it all lit up in green.

Auto updates:-
1) Open Google Wallet and tap the three lines in the top left.

2) Go to Settings and turn on "Updates about your passes."

3) Restart your phone to refresh the ticket.

There is no settings option on my phone when I do this.
Anyone help?

Weren’t we supposed to delete our old season tickets before uploading the new ones again, will that not sort it ?
I’ve got an iPhone, when you double click to fast access your wallet the three dots aren’t there, you have to access through the app, is that the same as google wallet ?

What type of phone do you have? It’s not a city wallet. Either Apple or Google I think.

One of the download stages gives you the Apple of Google option and you select whatever matches your phone.
It looks like you have to access via the club website rather than the app. The instructions are simplified on the email from the club.
Once downloaded the ticket shows as City V Spurs for the first game rather than as a season ticket as in the past.

Think there is a limit on downloads as we were all trying on our devices and its now blocked us out.
Going to mail the club.

When you go to ‘tickets’ on the App, it takes you off the app and opens up a window on the website. Does on mine anyway.

On App went into account, select manage ticketing account, then season ticket and then download 25/26 season ticket, that comes up with select apple or android

Just been down to test my phone. There are seemingly 3 cameras in each turnstile. There's one I think is for scanning a badge but two for scanning faces.

Received my Metrolink matchday season ticket today too.
At least this season, it has my football ST number on the back as well as details of validity, rather than having no info as per last season.
Looking forward to another season of queue jumping, and the usual suspects whinging about it!

Definitely a good thing the card is properly printed this year, there were occasions last year that the Fast Track was clearly overloaded - potentially because any Bee Network card was valid? As someone with both visible and invisible disabilities it's a godsend and ensuring it operates properly is really important.

Received a email from City today asking us to download our 3 season tickets.
Which we did no hassle only to find our 3 seats in Block 211 row j are now in Block 111 row 9 obviously no notification from City and no reduction in prices.
We've been in Block 211 for 16 years consistently renewing every season.
So a sleepless night tonight until I can contact City with what were hoping is a admin error.

What do you get when you press the 3 dots?

I dont have 3 dots, I have my initial A, when I click on that I get options with settings at the bottom. One of those is Updates and offers which I've ticked.

Haven't looked at our stadium plan in ages. Sad to see blues excluded from virtually the whole of blocks 202-206 to accommodate corporate wankers and away fans. That was a fun part of the ground to be in for many years.

You should have received 3 emails or letters (1 for each ticket )in the last month explaining the above and the reason for the changes.
You can't blame the ticket office for this one.

You’re still in the same seats, the club communicated this about a month ago.

Yes was an email from City, I was row D now Row 4.

Season Ticket Members will continue to enter the Etihad Stadium via the same turnstile, travel to the same level and then find their way to the same seat.

The only change will be that the numbers outside the levels, blocks and rows will be visually different.

This change is the consequence of the Etihad Stadium’s expansion and the introduction of a new single upper tier, as well as new hotel and commercial space, and the need to ensure consistency across all levels of the stadium for all fans.

Therefore, from next season onwards, the Etihad Stadium’s levels will be as follows:

Level 1 will become Level 0
Level 2 will become Level 1
Hospitality Box-Level will become Level 2
Level 3 will remain the same
