Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Just received this from the Man City Help account on Twitter. Those of us without NFC devices will just have to sit tight, somehow they didn't think of a solution before they rolled this out.

They will come back with something like...

We have good news, we have recently installed cameras on the turnstiles all you have to do is press your face against the glass and your match ticket will be verified.

At no time with there ever be a security breach where your data is lost/stolen/given to sell as part of our business plan.

I’d be amazed if facial recognition isn’t in place for all season ticket holders from next season (as in 26/27). Your face will be your ticket. Gonna make it almost impossible for those that share season tickets but the club hold all the cards I suppose.
 
Is anybody else having trouble downloading the new membership cards? My season tickets downloaded fine but I’ve got a couple of memberships on my account and when I go on ‘memberships’ I get this for literally a fraction of a second. And then it immediately reverts to the second image.

In order to create more flexibility, Season Ticket Members can select up to three City fans who can receive transferred tickets without requiring a membership.



To transfer tickets to non-Members during the 2025/26 season, you will need to nominate up to three non-Members between 10am, Monday 4th August and 5pm, Monday 11th August. You will not be able to nominate non-members after this window.





How do I nominate my selected non-members?




The steps to nominate your selected non-members will be as follows:



1. Make sure the nominated fan is listed in your Friends and Family. If you need to add them you can do so here . You’ll need their supporter number or email address, and their last name or postcode.



2. Nominate up to three people for “Non-Member Transfers”. During the online journey you will need to assign this to a nominated Friends and Family member.



*You can only complete this process once during Monday 4th August to Monday 11th August. Please make sure you include all non-members you may wish to transfer to at any point during the season."
How do you know now if you can't make a game next April and who will be using it....

Agreed. I don't get this at all. I know of only one non-member - possibly two - at the moment who I could definitely nominate. Why they can't just let us nominate people during the season as individual circumstances develop until the limit of three is reached is beyond me.

That’s what I was thinking. What’s the rush? I’m now trying to think who might possibly want my ticket who isn’t a member.
 
Hi, just wondering if anyone can help some of my friends are setting up City accounts in case I ever need to transfer them my ticket for the odd match. It’s been a while, but does anyone know if you get a supporter number instantly when you create an account?

Stricter rules on ticket transfers for the new season. Can see this hitting our Ticket Forum and other FV sites.

I don't understand why people find this hard. It's three non-members IN ADDITION to any members you've got as Friends & Family.

But, as usual, they've not thought it through and screwed it up by getting you to nominate 3 people by next week. How do you know now who you might want to transfer your ticket to in February or March?

But it means that people who can't afford the membership fee but maybe bought the odd ticket on a FV site will be fcked.

What if your friends and family are citizen members
