Seasoncard - 2021/22

I have zero faith in the ticket office getting this right for the 1st game.
If I download my ticket to my phone, can I print a ticket to use as a back up in case they have messed it up or will it not allow me to do both?
Would only be doing this for the 1st game in case they mess it up

So, I assume you can't add a friend to attend unless they are already a supporter? So if I can't attend a game, I can't give my paid for ticket to a friend if they are not a Citizen ?

Thanks.
My worry is that to download Google Pay App you might have to enter card details which like you I wouldn't want to do.
Have you already downloaded it without entering any card details?
you do,you need to enter card details
Iv been asking this for a while
apparantly after you have entered your card details you can delete them
fuck that.

Apple and Google pay are actually very very secure. Your card numbers are not stored on your device, it gives you a unique device account number, that's encrypted and stored in a secure part of your phone. When you use it, your device account number and a specially created security code are used to process your payment.

Your more at risk of have your credit card skimmed in the tram or queuing to get in the ground.

Bottom line is if you have the means to do it embrace it

Agree. To give City credit, they've done it with the audience in mind,i.e. us, for a change.
Yes it's really very clear. I followed a few of the links and even a pretty useless technically minded person such as myself has been able to understand it, I think. Just been on my phone and discovered that it does actually support NFC. Feel quite pleased with myself over that! Not sure about having to get google pay though. Maybe it will be like online banking, used to hate the thought of that but now I think it's great.

Well this has killed any excitement for new season, dreading the first game it will be a nightmare getting in. If you need to pick a ticket up, will have to queue for ages for that, then will have another queue to get in which will be chaos as 80% wont have a fucking clue what to do - stewards included. I reckon will need to be at ground at last 3 hours before kick off to have any chance of welcoming the champions onto the pitch. Really wish we hadn't renewed, very nearly didn't and now fumng with myself for letting heart rule head

This isn’t a dig at you or anyone else on City Matters but what was achieved at last week's meeting during which the club were informed about the depth of feeling about what was being proposed?

The options now are the same as previously announced and they are mobile ticketing or print at home tickets.

I've never been able to do a full season due to work. In the past, this hasn't been a problem as I know of at least a dozen who will take it off me for the price of a few beers next time I see them.
I really hope the print at home option isn't a complicated way of going about things as the 2 times I've had to go to ticket exchange it hasn't sold & the seat was empty.

This is a major 'own goal' by the club.
This is your classic tech guy selling his vision around a table.
Picture that Charlie prick at Sunderland, in their documentary discussing a new tune to get the crowd going, and you get the sort of person that comes up with these daft ideas.

There are still supporters who felt aggrieved they didn't get tickets for the Everton game. You are close to pissing off a generation(s) of supporters.

Wonder if they'll do a digital ONLY match programme to be echo friendly??? Guess they bring in too much revenue though.
We should be buzzing with the league season two weeks away. However we've let our greatest ever striker/player leave without replacing him and now we have a season card fiasco.
Like many have said you know it'll be chaos for the first home game and that will piss off even more fans.

But they are giving fans who are concerned the opportunity to test that their phones will work at the turnstiles and offering ‘drop in’ sessions to assist us.
I’ve not heard of any other club doing that. JMHO
