Seasoncard - 2021/22

My daughter has a season card but it’s not registered to an email address so she can’t download the seasoncard using the instructions in the link. Emailed ticket office for help but no answer.
Im away for the Norwich game so normally I’d just pass my season card to friends or family but I can’t do that now.

I may have missed it but I don’t remember being consulted on the introduction of mobile tickets.
I feel stressed and worried with all this extra faffing around

if I don’t get this resolved by the Arsenal home game then I’m cancelling my season cards
Hopefully may help..

To purchase on behalf of another supporter, all you need to do is link them on your friends and family. If a friend or family in your group does not have an email or NFC device, you can select your email in the delivery section of the purchase journey and the link to download their ticket to your phone will be emailed to you.

You cannot forward a ticket within your Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps”.

It’s a possibility ,
Arrive prepared with your covid pass/letter
I have mine ready in my apple wallet and just in case that fucks up, I have a PDF copy in my files and just in case that fucks up I have emailed my self a copy and just in case that fucks up I have taken a screen shot.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail!
sods law
you're gonna lose your phone after all that pal ;-)

Just received a text now reminding me I haven't downloaded my season ticket , after two e mails saying the same I know! Thanks City I'll probably have to spend £100 today for a NFC enabled phone, or I could go and buy a printer, ink and paper that's compatible with my old phone to print off my ticket, or I could consider queuing who knows how long each game to collect it, or I could just cancel completely. Or you could have sent me a seasoncard like normal, hey I never wanted the tin of goodies, I wouldn't be upset not to receive them this year honest. Shit show of their making, the ones who deferred this season were the clever ones.

It's free to join a library and use a computer. 20p to print something off in black and white. Everyone moaning about this. Times are changing. Everything is going contactless and QR. Deal with it.

Just this morning had Leeds festival and Test match at OT tickets sent to me as QR codes and had to assign and send them to the people coming with me. You’re right, everything going contactless. Took me a while but got my head round it now, feel sorry for my old man though. No way he’s ever gonna understand this…

Actually it's 10p at my library, but it costs me £4.60 return bus fare to get there, so the actual cost of printing off each ticket is £4.70. That is an additional cost of £89.30 a year on top of the £675 I have already paid for my seasoncard. That's just for league games of course. However I thank you for your kind considerate response to my post and for everybody else who is struggling with this.

In summing up, you're a ****

why the fuck should people have to join a fucking library for something that the club should be sending to them in the post like they have done for decades? Anyone defending this bullshit is as insincere as they come.

Anyone any idea at this stage if once the transfer ticket process is up and running, if you can't make a game are you transferring your whole seasoncard to someone else or will there be a way or does it automatically just transfer the next available game?
Someone has been down to the ground and been told it transfers your entire Seasoncard and then they have to transfer it back to you afterwards for you to have use of it again.
Whilst it's no different to passing your card to someone in the past and no doubt needing to get it back in that scenario you could report your card lost and get a replacement but in this scenario will they just say its your responsibility to sort as you voluntarily transferred it over?

We have already had contactless season tickets, this is a step backwards to snowflake phones.

If anyone has read and remembered my posts and the trouble I've had will remember I have been trying for ages to cancel my metro match day ticket. I think/thought I had succeeded. My City account seems to confirm this.

Today Postman Pat delivered my metro pass !

Now i will have to check my bank account to see if they charge me. What a farce.

i agree with you 100% pal but
those that have deferred,my mate for one, will have to adapt to all this next year
if they want to come back

They will yes but by then the problems should hopefully have been ironed out and anyone struggling got their head around it

I don't like it though. Everytime these firms come up with a new magic means of accessing places and events it just means you have to incur more costs upgrading the device you use to do this.

the people that have deferred will have heard about all this shit
but will still have to find out what they need to do,or someone they know will have to do it for them etc if they come back after this season.

a bloke i work with who is internet.computor/mobile iliterate, and deferred
has the last week paid for a £15 per month mobile contract,he has had to get an email etc
its all so unnecessary

Most of the issues would disappear if it was QR, the problem is NFC !

That card I'm sure could have been used season after season. If you bought a cup ticket it allowed you entry, so it was uploaded onto your card remotely, therefore surely it could have been done every season?

It must be about money. In the end there will be very few ticket staff if any and less postal costs. Of course us poor sods will have to keep on upgrading the devices needed to use the new technology everytime they change it.
