No the deadline to extend the deadline has been extended but the deadline to extend hasn't.

When deferring, I asked about the direct debits and the lady said they shouldn't go out but wasn't sure and I could cancel them if I wanted. I thought the whole idea of deferrral was that everything would stay in place. Do I trust the DD not to go out ??. Answers on a postcard.

You can do both online, renew yours as usual and fill in the deferral form for your son.
