Done that pal, it says if we’ve found an account we’ll email you. But she’s never signed up, I’ve always just bought the tickets, so she doesn’t receive an email. Might be a SS call!

I have an I phone 6s- I have managed to put the season ticket in Apple Pay wallet - however I have no dynamic code? Help!!

Just search ‘NFC’ in settings and ensure it’s switched on. You don’t need to see a barcode. All you do is hold your phone near the reader.

All part of the Legacy Fan cull. It's deliberate and targeted and their refusal to abandon this stupidity shows their contrived and scant regard for those who will struggle. In short, their actions are indefensible and even though we can see this amounts to a bus full of supporters driving into a wall, the club are quite prepared to take the fall out to achieve their underlying aim of wiping out the older fans. If they had any concern for customer service it would never have got out of the traps. This will have been discussed prior to rolling out and it's inconceivable that older fan difficulties were not raised. Despite this however they have pursued this targeted stupidity, and to avoid any questions they refuse to answer phones or emails. Calling it a shit show points at incompetence. This is not a shit show, this is a deliberate act of specific fan base vandalism.

Stop being over dramatic. It's been handled very badly and they've not considered the impact on those who struggle with technology but "deliberate act"? Give over.

He’s 75 next week so that’s cost him more than his season ticket Lol

it’s chicken feed for him but he doesn’t like spending :)

WTF is one of these? How do I know if I've got one. Does it do a little picture with an arrow - Dynamic Code Here? I've just got a little squarish blue ticket with some writing on it?

It would have been a better bet to weigh up the 'older' fan - the FOCs from CBL3 and EL3 - and have a few meat 'n potato pies 'n the Bovril laced with arsenic or strychnine!

This is such a problem, but surely one that should have been anticipated. You are told to open an account, which is fine if you are a new supporter. If not, it doesn’t link up to your points, history, seasoncard. You are regarded as a different person.

we used to also get a gift pack what we going to get now a virtual scarf

Stopping money laundering.

I paid cash in a restaurant in Manchester last month, they did not know what to do with it, just took it into the back somewhere eventually and made no attempt to check or count so we just left.

Sort of but the simple answer is taxation. If everything goes through your bank the black economy is dead.
Going back to the info City have on you.
They have my name and date of birth.
My home address, e mail, home/mobile phone number, bank details including possibly credit card. I went to Porto so they even have my passport details.
They know how many children I have and how many City friends I have. The police or Inland Revenue would love that sort of info and so would a marketing company.

I doubt it is knowledge to believe that the government has this grand plan to control everyone with debit or credit cards, to me that is misinformation or delusion. Why can’t they use id card or drivers license or you believe the government use those already ?

Even if city or whatever club that is going cashless track the customers card details (which I doubt personally) and reward the high spenders, is that not fair ? Using a card doesn’t mean it has your details by the way, some people use prepaid cards. So people who have conspiracy theories can always buy prepaid cards.


And going cashless definitely has its benefits, no need to look for change, city don’t get fake notes and the transaction is fast.

Re rewarding high spenders!!!! Seriously, what about the fans who have done and still do the hard miles. Southampton away mid week, Newcastle away the evening after boxing day. Ignore them because they don't spend money on replica shirts and a pie chips and bovril.

There's an option to pick up from the ticket office before every game which costs ... let me check ... fuck all. Yes, it's a mither I agree, but the reasons for going to this new system is that the old one could be hacked - even the designers of it say it shouldn't be used and there will be no support for it in the future - and people like getting stuff for free or next to nowt, just look at all the IPTV threads. Businesses, for some reason, don't like having their goods or services stolen, I just can't think why. The fact is, the clubs would not be doing this if others hadn't tried to find a way to make money illegally out of it.

Thanks totally different to the Everton ticket which had a barcode on it to it could be read at the turnstiles. This will only work with an FNC enabled phone. Ahh well more cost, new bloody phone it will have to be!

You could also opt to collect from the ticket office each game. A faff I agree, but not too bad if you're nearby/passing often as this can be done 7 days prior.

No I live miles away, I'd have to pick it up on the day of the game which I don't fancy doing. I don't drive either so it would be the joy and cost of public transport added on.

Ha ha yes the dreaded tins! A lovely gesture but as they couldn't fit through the letterbox, if you weren't in it meant a trip to the post office to collect your seasoncard.....and the tin of course. We're never happy are we? Lol.
