Seasoncard Amnesty

As I'm 170 miles away, and work shifts , I sometimes can't make it, so my son keeps my season card, and will use it with one of his mates, so unless the rules change to allow it to be lent like this, there will be an empty seat when I can't make it.
Don’t think so, as I understand your s/ c doesn’t get you into every game so unless you book for a particular game then somebody else can use that seat.

I've not seen this mentioned anywhere, that we won't be able to go to every game ? I was talking more about when normality returns though.
I see. Though as I understood it was always the rule it was non transferable and they could ask for id, may be wrong. It would be a question of whether they want to enforce it more than they did, or even with a full attendance if they could.
As for this season, then if the capacity is at a guess 18,000 we can’t all go , sure @Prestwich_Blue said somewhere it would be some sort of ballot. From the e- mail I got seems some will be available to match days buyers like myself too. Not sure if points will be used to prioritise that part.

If any kind of a crowd is allowed back in October, the earliest possible time, we'll be looking at 10,000-15,000 max. It's possible this might be gradually increased during the season if all goes well, also possible that the season will be suspended again and will return at some point behind closed doors again. Really don't get why folks are fussing about what might or might not happen when season cards can be used normally again, that might be years away.

Scroll up. @goatinho
"spoke to someone in customer services mate. each person needs ID and has to match the name on the card."
Don’t think he said he spoke to customer services, from my reading he’s made the assumption. I suggested it probably isn’t the case for taking a child. He’d need to check. @goatinho may confirm.

Oh it was always "non transferable" but many do it, certainly when my kids were young they shared a season card between them, it was always in my son's name but my daughter often used it. I've mates who share a ticket, again down the distances involved.

I hope they are, even if it means I miss out, or we could miss out on future fans.

Yeah, I'm not really expecting crowds in stadiums this year, anything earlier will be a bonus, but it does all need some thinking about. If for instance we can return in small numbers, and me and my son can't be there together, then I won't be travelling the 340 mile round trip if he's not allowed. Easier for him if I can't go, as he can walk there and back.

As for the "future normal" I still think there is no harm discussing it.

At the end of the day nobody knows how our fellow fans will feel about going back, some will be desperate (like they were with pubs), others will be more reticent, especially older fans.

I have a different problem. I’m disabled now and in a wheelchair, can’t walk, use my hands or go to the toilet myself. I therefore have a personal assistant who can attend with me. However, I live alone in an extra care home now, so my PA is not always the same person. Any ideas @Prestwich_Blue ?

In the email we received info on the subject of photo ID it said more detail was to follow, the biggest one for me was the Under 5 change (or maybe it had always been there but I'd ignored it - innocently of course)

Under 5s

All supporters entering the stadium, regardless of age, need to have purchased and be in possession of their own ticket. This includes babes in arms. This is a safety requirement which we must adhere to in order to remain compliant with our Stadium licensing conditions.

It'll be interesting about the question of sharing tickets as that probably won't come out until the amnesty is over. Then what draconian rules after the amnesty. But like people say, next season won't matter and we might have lost a lot of regulars by then
