This is killing me. I moved back to Greater ManChester last year after leaving over 40 years ago. One of the biggest thing I was looking forward to was watching City live, so much so that three years ago I bought a seasoncard to make sure I wouldn’t miss out when I got back. In three years Ive used it once myself.
VAR was already putting me off the game and then COVID came along. Now we have the Superleague. In the last 30 years I have got used to the “three strikes and your out rule”. This feels like three strikes to me so my inclination is not to renew.

My club has jumped into bed with the Glazers. Despite everything we’ve been through and the thousands of fans who have defended the club, they jump into bed with these greedy bastards. No renewal from me, they don’t need my money. Ask me again when our owners have fucked off or made a full and frank apology with fan representation at exec level.

Yeah swap that dead rubber shakhtar game for 4 dead rubbers against AC Milan, Arsenal, spurs and barca for eternity.I'd sign up for the SL cup scheme as well. More meaningful matches and not having to pay for dead rubber group games against Shakhtar Donetsk
Theyll likely be more dead rubber games than actual games with meaning under the new format and you can experience them year after year. How exciting.

Not a chance if the Super League is still going ahead and even if the club backtracked Im not sure I can be swayed. Like others have said, It will make little difference but at least I am not part of it.

Despite the pandemic and despite having a 10 month old with little family close by to support us, we were going to maintain our three season cards and were looking forward to season ticket renewals.
After the last 24 hours, it's made us re-evaluate. The club don't value the league games so why the fuck should we shuffle our life about.
It's really fucking heart breaking. We met indirectly through city and its been fucking grim in our house today.
