Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

My Daughter has an 18/21 card, she was 21 last December and they have put her down for a discounted season card again.
Have a missed something or is it correct?

Its a conundrum...do you contact them and they make it expensive or...do you just continue using the ticket anyway (it shows as an adult ticket inside the stadium when the lights go on - but maybe thats a reason for them doing away with the 16-17 one)

Any chance any of them are reading this thread?

That's a joke by the way, they couldn't give a fuck about long term fans.

I'm cancelling after being a season ticket holder since I was below the age of 10.

Sad times.

I got a phone call last week from the girl dealing with the customers being affected by the tunnel.
She offered me two seats on row C, I said I didn't want them and I want my seat in 93:20.
Was told there was no availability up there, but I know at least 10 others are up there. So told her again I didn't want C and was cancelling.
Got an email the day after confirming my Row C seats. YCNMIU.

Shocking customer service! Doesn't surprise me though.

Sorry - It's a very emotive topic and something I feel strongly about. The people saying it's an insignificant increase and we've never had it so good are right in many ways but missing the point. We've been in a better position than we've probably ever been in in my lifetime but there's a feeling among many that the club almost want to change the fan-base and replace people like us, who go home and often away but refuse to be 'monetised', with people happy to buy a ticket and spend loads in the shop and food outlets. When absolute die-hards like @squirtyflower are giving up then something's gone much more wrong than an extra £20 on a season ticket.

Agreed. It is sad to see diehard fans leaving the club. Out of interest I am going to email Danny Wilson and ask why they couldn't freeze the ticket price again in view of TV money but I expect he will (probably rightly) say we are still playing catch up in terms of revenue compared with scum. My mate is a long term ST holder at OT & had paid more for years for a tiny poxy seat in - let's face it - a pretty old fashioned scruffy stadium (despite laughingly being nicknamed theatre of dreams!!).

I agree the increase is not going to make a big difference revenue wise but I still think that the constant criticism of every aspect of the club is unwarranted. Even the much maligned stewards are only trying to do their job and I don't envy them having to try to get a tanked up city fan to sit down or stop smoking.

I'll let you know what Danny says!!

I have to say that, personally, I don't have a beef with the price rise.
To me its the whole experience as a customer. It was so good and improving year on year but for some reason the last year has gone to shit.

Might just be my perception but I've felt different since the Barcelona guys game in. I know Txiki is just players and it might not even be Soriano's remit but I've not felt the same since the 12/13 season.

I just feel incredibly disconnected now.

Can anyone shed any light on family stand criteria. I was under the impression that up to 3 adults could go in as long as junior was u15 who accompanied them. Is the junior/ child now classed as being u18.

If city are attempting to match utds revenue streams at the gate then it is only going to end in tears, we simply don't have anywhere near their fan base, our fans are by and large regulars, the same people who turn up for all competitions, that's why in the cups lots of fans have to pick and choose, there isn't thousands waiting in the wings and probably won't ever be, Liverpool, Utd, arsenal and Chelsea have cornered the fairweather market. The club should be nurturing it's core support not alienating it, while finding ways of attracting all the kids of Manchester to the etihad. We have a brilliant unique football club, those making the decisions are in danger of changing the clubs identity forever, and not for the better

Been feeling like that for two or three seasons now, I thought moving from 307 to 115 would help, but it hasn't.
Getting treated like fkn cattle is disgusting.

We are only a number to them now, just a walking £ sign, they do not give a fuck about us unless you go in the club shop every visit, spending stupid amounts of money.

I am still deciding if to renew or not. Might take a year out and see how I feel but I think I already know that if I leave, there is no going back to being a season ticket holder, I can already get all the tickets I want, so I won't be missing out and I won't feel the need to try and keep up.

The football side of City seems to me to be run very well. Academy, women and for most of the time the 1st team at or near the top of the tree. However the vision City have, has somewhere been lost. We were the club that smashed the mould of English football. Aguero dealt a hammer blow to Man Utd and the top 4 and City were set to become a new force in football. The Etihad Campus was under development. Tramway, new stand, training ground, colleges and more. A signpost for the future, but somehow this vision has got lost and we look more and more like a club heading for Arsenal.com than a football club set to displace Barcelona and Real Madrid at the pyramid of world football.

If you look in our league today, the club with hope, vision, and identity is Spurs. They have a new stadium, a young team, and their supporters, and players are buying into it. Somewhere down the line, City's fans began to lose belief in where we are going and that is entirely down to the incompetence of the executives at MCFC who think that communciation is all about the MBA giving a speech at the end of the season. I don't want to hear much from the boardroom, but I do want to see some evidence that City are determined to move forward as a football club, and that we are not settling for top 4, and maximising cash flow. We could make a start by announcing what intentions we have with the ground expansion. That can be a tremendous galvanising forward thinking effect. Stop pandering to corporate clients, and put your fans first. Ticketing. Regular supporters should get priority. Ticket pricing: I don't think the pricing is that bad in regards to season tickets, but adding £10 to season tickets was a silly move.

Three or four years ago City looked like an unstoppable train, but through our own incompetence we have managed to throw away the momentum we had. If I were Sheik Mansour, I'd be making some changes in the boardroom. They don't have much to do, but almost everything they do has been very poorly done.

We will never displace Madrid or Barca as long as I've got a hole in my arse, it's frankly fucking laughable to suggest it, I'd settle for overtaking Chelsea first as they are leagues in front of us for trophys won in the recent era and size of fanbase.

There are too many on here who think we are big hitters because Peps rolled up in town - we are talking already of another transitional season next year, anyway it just heightens the arrogance of that despicable toss pot Soriano who thinks increasing our ST's is somehow fucking justified, you can stick the CL cup scheme up your arse next season pal, the mard arse players should take a pay cut for that shit we've mostly had to watch this season.

The clubs out of touch , not the City I fell in love with.
