Seasoncard Renewals | Slight Price Increase

Guarantee most of those moaning about a miniscule price increase are on over 50 grand a year salaries, get a fucking grip you entitled cunts.

We have the best coach in the world and have consistently been one of the best teams on the planet the last 10 years. It's a business and like everything else, prices are increasing. A lot of people got to go to Porto practically for free last year on behalf of the club (not me might I add). Being a tight **** gets you nowhere in life.

Either put up and renew or stand out the way and let someone take your place. I disagree with some of the pricing for individual games and certain types the club attract at European games for example, but we still have a solid core of working class fans who just pay their money and turn up at all costs. It's people like that who keep clubs going, not those who penny pinch over about a quid a game.

Long story short. I’ve applied to go back full-time at work due to the cost of living increases. My part-time wage was enough to cover my outgoings 2 years ago , it’s not anymore. I’ve also made as many cutbacks as I can across the board. Binned Virgin. Haggled half price on my Internet. Reduced my monthly mobile bill. Cancelled direct debits and standing orders I can’t afford anymore. Etc. There are 10,000’s of City fans like me who are working class City fans and are struggling day by day with the cost of living rises.

PS. I’ve saved 20,000 litres of water on my previous yearly water bill. My water payments haven’t gone down as water has gone up in price. Same with gas and electric usage. As and when. Other than that a jumper or a coat will do. I do like a bath though. :-)

Nearly choked on my fucking fois gras when I read that.

Because you both misread what I said. Working class folk tend to just crack on with it and pay whatever it takes to be there, unlike the 50k a year merchants. Same ones will be demanding freebies if we get to Paris.

It's a generalisation I know, but the point is we offer a great product at a reasonable price. Same ones moaning have no qualms paying £4 a go for a pint of piss.

It's an unpopular opinion but I won't apologise for it other than perhaps generalising about people's earnings.

If you have a stable job and own your own home, I don't think you're in a place to complain about a 20 odd quid increase on a season ticket. I think we've all been in the position where we have to prioritise outgoings and stop other hobbies and unnecessary spending, that's just the way of the world. City still offer incredible value compared to other top clubs.

so if your in a stable job and own a home you can’t complain about prices increases? Despite the fact all the bills have gone up and most of us haven’t had a pay rise in a few years.. that makes no sense.
I’m on a pretty poor wage and own a home, just about paying my bills.. don’t smoke, drink, really go out and I’m at the point where I’m being priced out of attending city games general. But no I won’t complain I’ll just accept it because we have some cheap seats in ss3

You don't need to justify yourself to me or anyone else mate. We have all had to make similar decisions and adjustments to our lives. My point was at the serial moaners which we have a lot of, it ain't ever gonna be better than it currently is at City and people will just never be happy.

The piss will be £4.50 next season. It will still taste like piss, but it will be more expensive piss.

If you 'own' your own home, you invariably have a 'mortgage'.

You have essential outgoings such as food, gas, petrol, children, etc.

Bills are going up across the board, so for many, it's not a £20 increase consideration, but part of a wider monthly expenditure.

Why the fuck should someone who has a deeper wallet allow to shift aside someone who has forty years in?

Aye, God forbid anyone might look beyond their own nose and have sympathy for those with less money than them. We're all fans of the same club, if ever there's a time to speak up it's when you see people with the same loyalties being priced out needlessly. Every time, it's £10 here, £25 there - it takes a toll.

When I read that to my chauffeur he nearly crashed the limo.
50 grand a year? I wish!

what planet do you live on. people on lower incomes don’t just crack on with it. They choose paying for food/ heating and if you’ve not got the money your not going to watch city anymore.
