Seasoncard Renewals | Slight Price Increase

I wonder if anyone from the club reads this thread?
It’s overwhelmingly negative towards the club and their decisions. Feels like they are in a bunker and we can never get hold of them
if they do
it would still change bugger all
we're addicts to city
i will get my own back though
not bought merchandise for years, thinking.of coming out of all cup.schemes
sick.of early.round champs league games when students are taking the piss after getting in for a tenner, rags student taking piss etc

I deferred last season for various reasons but will be renewing mine and my son's.

You can have my season tickets for you and your mum to sit together, whenever I can't go or be arsed, if you would like that?

Probably six or seven of those each season.

I can also sort you out with IPTV for £70 if that's something you can stretch to, it really does pay for itself and you get to watch City, home and away, plus everything your son will love in terms of Disney plus, Netflix, Amazon, prime, all the Sky channels, films, etc.

I will wire you the £70 if needs be and also have a brand new Amazon 4K firestick to set it up with, which I could mail you.

Sorry for your dilemma but the offer is genuinely there and just a token gesture.

Just PM me if that's something you would like.

Best wishes to your family and mum.
What a guy.

i agree mate. Despite all the success I feel so far removed from the club. Feel like a customer
You are..........it's a product and has been for a long time.

Long gone are the days of my yoof and living breathing MCFC.......fuck it. I've had the best memories ever. Being an old **** and getting more skint by the year...I'm a Legacy dinosaur. They don't give a fuck about me.

I have to pay council tax, Gas , Leccy , Food , Run a car, keep a house going etc etc

just not got the money ....sadly.

Being surrounded by Real Madrid the other night was also a real eye opener.

I honestly don't think they give a fuck anymore. They've employed number crunchers to increase our revenue and fans are just part of that remit. Football clubs are unique in that people are emotionally attached to them so we can't just take our custom elsewhere and they know it. They need to be careful. We are at the most successful period in our history. Now on paper we may say sold out almost every game but TV pictures say the opposite as there are often lots of gaps. It's not just here, other clubs are the same they just hide it better and the media don't highlight them.

We are in the biggest cost of living hike in decades. It would have been great for the club to recognise that and freeze prices, however small. Every little helps as one retailers advertisement tells us.

Maybe, but then is a 35 page thread of ???? s/c holders the best gauge of opinion of 35000 s/c holders. It may be one but it won't be the only or best one.

I have, like everybody else, been thinking about this and I suppose the club would point out that they provided free transport to Wembley this season and the plane last season etc.

My argument back to them would be that whilst they were magnificent gestures especially the plane, they were for a certain group of fans. Without any disrespect to those fans in any way shape or form, they would probably have gone to the games anyway.

The people who can't afford or are seriously considering their options because of this increase are people who would probably not have been able to attend the aforementioned games anyway but a freeze on the Season ticket price would possibly cost as much, or even less, than the cost of that transport.

Being fair to all our supporters and treating us all equally would have gone a long way. JMHO

perhaps. I think blue moon is a good indicator of our core match going support. Lots of people on here regularly attend games.

A point I keep banging on about is that we as fans have no voice and no one representing us. We don’t have any communication with the owner or the people running the club. It’s not right. They could literally make the whole stadium corporate and we can’t really do anything about it. We can only really vent on websites like this.

getting to the point where I’ve had enough of it.

The cost of living is crazy. In five years my utility bills have almost doubled but my navy pension has hardly increased. I took early retirement five years ago and luckily I have savings otherwise I'd be fucked. I had six years to duck and dive until my state pension kicked in and then I should be better financially if I live that long. My navy pension isn't far off bring totally taken up to pay my bills and food now. The good news is my season ticket is now at old fogies rate, £340 a year saving me £340 from what I was paying.

As for fans, this video of the Madrid game is an eye opener. The lad and his dad filming it aren't City fans, he just goes to lots of high profile games blogging. Loads of tourist fans there, how do they get their tickets?

I'm two years off FOC rates..............mine was over £800 (plus cup schemes and aways/Wembley etc) to renew. Moving wasn't guaranteed and the cheaper seats is virtually impossible to get and usually sold out every year.

Maybe in two years I'll try again. I really wasn't banking on my new Gas and Electric bills. Shop is also going crazy.

This has to be a contender for the Bluemoon post of the season.
Hats Off!
