pity city dont do something like that for local unemployed fans or people on low incomes.

Problem is, if they didn’t turn up then we would have crowds of 25000 for the CL games early rounds. Even the semi when ST holders had the opportunity to buy, there were no regulars near me. Some people just don’t go to CL regardless of who we play or what round it is.

I agree. I sacked the champions League off after the Spurs defeat. I hated the competitive before then but that was the catalyst. It leaves me cold I hate everything about it. I understand the players and club love it and want to win it but it's not for me. I couldn't even get excited for the Madrid game and won't try and get a ticket if we reach the final. It's everything I hate in football. As a Blue though I obviously want us to win it. There again I'd want us to wins tiddleywinks competition.

I was one of our fans who stuck with the competition and felt it would be great to win it. I've actually come round to your view. I despise it more with each passing year, but I would absolutely love to be there just to see us win it once. After that, no more for me.

In reality, all three cups are shit. The league is numero uno by quite some margin. The league is the weekly grind and the benchmark by which players and managers are judged. No manager ever got sacked for going out of a cup competition whilst doing well in the league.

I actually quite like it. Loved the Madrid game. I think I would be ok with a European league now as long as still promotion and relegation. I know most people wouldn’t though!

I deferred last season for various reasons but will be renewing mine and my son's.

You can have my season tickets for you and your mum to sit together, whenever I can't go or be arsed, if you would like that?

Probably six or seven of those each season.

I can also sort you out with IPTV for £70 if that's something you can stretch to, it really does pay for itself and you get to watch City, home and away, plus everything your son will love in terms of Disney plus, Netflix, Amazon, prime, all the Sky channels, films, etc.

I will wire you the £70 if needs be and also have a brand new Amazon 4K firestick to set it up with, which I could mail you.

Sorry for your dilemma but the offer is genuinely there and just a token gesture.

Just PM me if that's something you would like.

Best wishes to your family and mum.
Great gesture there and hope she takes you up on it, on the iptv front I am a reseller that doesn’t resell I just do a bulk annual order every may for friends & family that comes in £35 each and would be more than happy to add ya to it.

Increase or not the value for money at City is ridiculously good. Look at the prices at other top clubs and what they get in return
As you hold great store by the quality of football on show, against cost, presumably you are consistent and would bin City off if we ever end up shit again?

You know, with your value for money/quality of football comparison.

Unfortunately, most long term fans don't think like that. They are here for City, good or bad, not because we are winning loads and that makes it value for money.

completely agree. I like we offer students cheaper tickets. However these students often aren’t city fans and we aren’t going to grow our fanbase with them. We’d be much better off offering locals those cheap tickets…. Long term it would benefit hugely

uni students who don’t support us get cheap tickets, but locals who the club was made for are priced out. Makes no sense
