Seasoncard Renewals | Slight Price Increase

I hope this latest season ticket renewals thread makes the club reflect on the continual season ticket price increases and the unhappiness amongst the fans about them. The previous threads have clearly been ignored by the club. We'll find out at the end of next season if the club has taken any notice and remembers this thread?
We always think that Khaldoon has taken note with his end of season interviews, as his words make out that core supporters are very important to him. Then we get a price rise again the year after, and the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that…

Season ticket holders who didn’t attend (or failed to list tickets for resale) for 10 or more Prem games are being contacted by the Club’s admin at the end of the season. Those without a proper explanation might have season cards withdrawn or be given a final warning.

I think the focus is more on persuading fans in this category to switch to match day membership etc. I would just stop these people from renewing but that’s me.
slightly off topic on your comment but what is the current limit on listing on the exchange? Are city focusing on those or over-use it?

I did a quick review these are my stats (based on newcastle exchange and villa attending):
ST 1 - ATT 11 - EXCH - 8 (used and sold)
ST 2 - ATT 11 - EXCH - 7 (used and sold) - 1 Empty (listed but never sold brighton wed night)

I would be very disappointed in city contacted me and what determines a "proper explanation".

I think we have all been down this road pre-covid when the limit was 6 listed.

I understand this is to target the non attendees and non-resellers - the 3.5k you referenced earlier..

I dont let the seat go unattended as im hungry for the ££ so either enjoy it myself or actively use the exchange. Thanks

They know don’t they? I thought there was a record of when the tickets are used because didn’t they say the season before lockdown that if you missed x number of matches they might take you SC off you. Or am I misremembering something from a meeting I was at where it was suggested.
It may be the person who owns these tickets has put them up for sale on the OS which, if I remember correctly, gets round the minimum attendance rule.

I can’t understand why anyone would pay for a season card and not use it but then again, there are a lot of things I don’t understand.

I have had to put my ticket on the exchange for the last two matches (mainly because I was under the impression that if my seat was empty too often I might lose it) and it sold within hours of me putting it on. I put the Newcastle Utd on this morning at 11.15 and had an email at 12.45 to say it had sold!

I appreciate it could be because it is on the front row of CBL1 to the right of the away dug out but it has amazed me how quickly it has gone.

@Tim of the Oak I appreciate what you are saying about wanting people to always list their tickets but at present I could be feeling well enough to go on one day but not the next which effectively means I might wait until the day of the game before I make a decision and then if I can’t make it it is too late to list i5 or even 99% of the time to even give it away. I don’t want to lose my card which is why I am, much against my will, putting it up early. I will not however, under anŷ circumstances put it up for the last home game of the season! If I have to be carried there or in a wheelchair (apologies to those who have to go in wheelchairs) I will be there. :-)

I sell probably 6-7 out of 10 I list. Brighton at home midweek no chance.

People need to stop moaning. City tickets aren't particularly expensive and no nobody is forced to buy them. The club is not a charity and needs to make profits to warrant the owners wanting to operate the business. We all know the cost of operating a business is ever increasing that's why prices always go up and never down, football is no different. If we want success we have to accept that we have to pay for it in some small way. Many of those fans complaining would be the ones complaining if the club failed to sign Haaland, big player money needs financially healthy clubs and that money needs to come from things like tickets prices. I'd prefer to be paying what I do now watching us as Premier League champions rather than the shower I used to watch years ago and paid less for.You can't have your cake and eat it.
Elon Musk, over here

Part timer :-)
