I don't know where your looking but there is 2500 left in the east stand alone.
Similar in the Colin Bell and North stand.

I think £17.50 were the cheapest kids tickets for people in the cup scheme. They’re £10 more for people who don’t have STs, and there’s only £30 ones left on the planner.

They were £15 for juniors on the cup scheme in NS & SS level 1.

£17.50 for all other juniors with season tickets or memberships.

£20 for non members.

So yeah, £30 is a lot for a kid. But the other guy is right. It may be all that’s left now. But there are people making out like they were the cheapest available, when they were half that amount for plenty.

Is it still the case both clubs have to agree on price structure for Fa Cup tie, I seem to remember a game years ago, not City that the away team didn't agree with the price the home team wanted to charge and home team had to charge more than they wanted

Scunthorpe at home in the cup around 2007. Scunthorpe wanted to charge more than City were planning to charge. Both teams take a share of the gate receipts in the FA Cup, so Scunthorpe went to the FA.
Obviously, the FA sided with the club that wanted to charge more because they are greedy bastards as well. City subsidised the home fans and the away fans had to pay full whack.

It doesn’t really happen at cup games though because the singing gets drowned out because the away fans are under the roof and our songs can’t get going. A few goals will help of course!

I don't think you can count, there are 951 seats available in the East Stand and nowhere near the number you quote elsewhere.
Why come on here quoting misinformation, we have enough bile and bullshit coming from professional journalists on other topics relating to City,without are own supporters piling on.

I don't think so, football is a business, even more so with ffp, all clubs have number crunchers and their job is to increase turnover, that's their job, so if they think they can charge £30 for an under 18 ticket they will.
On a side note I got an email stating under 18 from £17.50 ? It was definitely under £20 so where do you get £30 ?

Outside of fixed priced PL match tickets, I always think there is a certain amount of flexibility and wiggle room in domestic cup ticket prices.

The club doesn't know how far we'll get in the domestic cup competitions, and who'll we'll draw in each round.

As we get further into the domestic cup competitions the prize money also increases.

Obviously it isn't the case, but I'd like to think a full stadium for Carabao Cup and FA Cup games would be a priority over a few extra quid.

We're now at the stage that CL QF's and SF's will sell out regardless of ticket prices as tourists and day trippers will buy tickets that season ticket holders and City fans in general who aren't interested in attending CL games won't buy.

(Just me) I think City should have an affordable set ticket price scheme for all Carabao and FA Cup home games regardless of the round and the opposition.

That way the club doesn't end up making pricing mistakes like Newcastle and the fans know exactly how much they will pay for Carabao and FA Cup tickets regardless of the round and the opposition.

Let's get future hone Carabao and FA Cup games priced properly to attract families and to fill the Etihad. The club can crunch the numbers with CL tickets instead.

My waffling aside, this thread over the last few days has been a great read with many honest opinions and views of how ticket are sold by the club. There have been some great ideas and suggestions regards selling tickets and ticket prices. Hopefully Danny Wilson ( & Soriano) are reading this thread and taking note? I won't hold my breath.

Thank you. I've just seen a viagogo add on my Facebook page advertising tickets. Makes you wonder how many are still unsold by agencies. These agencies need fkn right off.

how do you know these figures are actually correct? There are a lot of seats which always say say ‘sold’ even when they are not. Corporate, player tickets….

Cheers for that, remembered the issue but not the game, I'd been wondering if the Newcastle had been a similar case with Newcastles finance issues

It’s quite incredible that we give the away fans the best stand in the house for noise.

When I was in SS1 for a cup game once, I couldn’t hear anything at all above when Burnley had both tiers. I also can’t hear SS1 when up in SS3 (might be someone thing to do with my shit hearing but it never soubds that great.)

The atmosphere will be Geordie driven until we score ! That’s what we will need to do. Take control of the game early and put it to bed. We have a very good record at home against them though so fingers crossed.

This is why the club must use the NS development to to create TWO home ends (SS & NS) and relocate the away fans round the corner of NSL1 & ESL1.

I’m not aware of any other club,including lower league, who concede the home end to away supporters for cup ties,penalising our team and assisting the opponent.

IMO,these changes, and associated reallocations, are eminently achievable without compromising segregation, security, logistics, access/egress etc and would give the fans the best opportunity to create an atmospheric stadium for all fixtures,improving the matchday experience, AND helping the team.
