Seat Counters - 2024/25

What is the advantage of membership over a supporter number. I have an ST so don't get involved in these things. I'm guessing it's quicker access to tickets via F&F.
I thought you had to have a membership to buy a ticket, but a supporter number would suffice to have one transferred to you? But like you I have a ST so I’m not sure.

They aren't and they sold out straight away on general sale (3 hrs) 30 Dec.

The above makes it harder for City to do the same, but obviously City want the £20 membership for someone to buy up to 4 tickets, as Salford take the majority of the net gate. If it doesn't sell out hopefully the prices will remain low for future home domestic cup games, against "bigger" opposition it would have sold out charging £20 more a ticket.
They still went on general sale, so the point about City not putting it on general sale due to security reasons simply not true. As you say it's because city just want a few more membership sign ups

I sort of agree but these types of families are derided as tourists on here. They probably wouldn’t bother if they knew the sneering attitude of the so called “regulars”

I think most families who are interested in City wouod know a match going fan, these days.
Doesn't matter what people on here think. The fact is that kids in Greater Manchester are those that will make up the next generation of blues, it's games like this to get them hooked for life. Otherwise I worry that we could be missing out on many future supporters.

I disagree on your last point, but I guess there's no way for either of us to prove the other wrong on that!

Is just me, or don’t the FA Cup 3rd round tickets against Salford seem to be shifting? There are hundreds left in quite a few blocks. I appreciate there’s still a week and a half to go until the match.
And when you take into account that we have sold out FA cup games against the likes of Rotherham and Port Vale in recent years, it would appear the club have now broken the back of the local ‘legacy support’.

Possibly, but let’s wait and see. There is always a last minute rush for cheap FA Cup tickets.

I think the Brugge game is the only match in at least the last couple of years that non members have been able to buy tickets directly from the club.

Possibly a couple of other low key European group games. But I’m almost certain that nothing domestic for a good while.

Bought my son a membership in Black Friday deal as he has been desperate to watch City. You’re right that only Brugge has been on Gen Sale but he couldn’t go as we live in North East.

Ticket exchange or returns from touting partners. We'll never know, but the club should insist the touting partners return them early enough for fans to buy them and plan transport if required.
