Seat Counters - 2024/25

Tickets in Salfords away end are on general sale with no purchase history required, no reason why city can't do the same. It's got absolutely nothing to do with trouble at the game, whilst there will be trouble outside, there's not going to be issues regarding away fans buying tickets in the home end. They'll be lucky to sell the away end in the first place.

I'm talking about new fans. Locals who may not have been to a game before. Might be looking to take their child to their first game for cheap. Might not be particularly big blues, but could be swayed. They won't know anyone with a membership, bad attitude to assume that everybody considering going to a game has a membership, or knows someone who has one
I don’t think there will be hardly any trouble in the ground either. City don’t like to take those risks, unless it’s expensive corporate tickets.

Members will make extra tickets available to Blues without membership. Not everyone will be aware of help available but a lot will.

I think the problem with your logic is that people just looking for a one off treat probably can't be bothered with the hassle.

There will be many people who's eyes light up at the cheap prices, but as soon as they realise they need a membership they'll just fuck it off and not think about it again.

They're certainly not going to be aware of facebook ticket pages if they're not at least some what regular match goers. And if they were regular match goers, they'd probably have matchday memberships.

I sort of agree but these types of families are derided as tourists on here. They probably wouldn’t bother if they knew the sneering attitude of the so called “regulars”

I think most families who are interested in City wouod know a match going fan, these days.

They aren't and they sold out straight away on general sale (3 hrs) 30 Dec.

The above makes it harder for City to do the same, but obviously City want the £20 membership for someone to buy up to 4 tickets, as Salford take the majority of the net gate. If it doesn't sell out hopefully the prices will remain low for future home domestic cup games, against "bigger" opposition it would have sold out charging £20 more a ticket.

More tickets have appeared for the West Ham match. Ticket Exchnage?
Not surprising when you consider the transport shambles and the weather forecast. There are also a huge number of people laid low with various flu-like bugs. I put my chances of making the match at about 50/50 at present because I am recovering from major surgery. Shit happens.

I'm just getting over that noravirus bug had to miss leicester game it's fecking dreadful and apparently its rife all over so think more will come available. Hope your recovery goes well.

Is just me, or don’t the FA Cup 3rd round tickets against Salford seem to be shifting? There are hundreds left in quite a few blocks. I appreciate there’s still a week and a half to go until the match.
