Seat Counters - 2024/25

I won't be there but my seat will be taken by a City fan a youngster who will be cheering like mad for our team.

No emails from City for me tomorrow!! ;-)

EDIT: I do know that the 14 match thingymabob only applies to the SC but I like to be daft now and again. :-)
On numerous occasions at entrance H the stewards have failed to scan my ticket on there handheld scanners.
Should be fun and games when I attend and they say I haven't. CTID

Night games are a fucker to get home from. I remember Maine Road. It used to be 19:30 kick off, 10 minutes for the halftime break and the game would be finished by 21:10. If there was any stoppage time it was minimal. A quick dash to the Princess road bus depot, hop onto the 105 and back in the house in Benchill by just after 22:00. If you got a good run it could be earlier.

Now games rarely finish before 22:00 and I'll be lucky to be home in Altrincham by midnight. I tried the club bus service for the first time on Saturday. Going was great. It ended up about two thirds full and got to the ground just after 14:00. Going back was a lot busier and slower. The driver dropped me off on Manchester road at 18:50 so I just made the 247 bus home, otherwise it would have been another hour for the next one or a taxi.

I do the occasional night game but not many.

Wonder if the club will take note ? Doubtful.

Ive had £200 taken out my account for tickets/season card in a week . Thankfully its just me, if the kids came to these games i wouldnt be able to afford it.

Good job im a legacy fan though

So something that's a little concerning to me is that block 313, which is normally the top tier of the away end, was part of the home end today. The reason this concerns me is because, apart from 4 returns yesterday, this block never went on sale via the website.

Are we now at a point where if the away team gives back part of their allocation, the club is going to distribute these via other routes?

Just worth keeping in mind if we get a semi final against Madrid, where no one can get tickets

Club employees were given these tickets today.

No argument. The tickets should have been cheaper.

Setting that aside for now, it was a good crowd and we even had to take up some of the Inter allocation. I was there cheering the lads on. I will get home about 1am.

Danny Wilson need to explain why I could have bought my ticket for less through an agency than my cup scheme price. Apart from that, I enjoyed the game. Shame Gundo was off target.

Credit to the South Stand Level 1 Blues in particular who really got behind the lads. I did manage to get a come on City going round the ground from 209 though lol.

Yes, have the same memory and exactly the journey I used to do home to Benchill. Bit longer now I live in the Midlands!

I strongly suspect this whole "giving tickets away" is a myth started by Man United fans and taken up by our fans.
It’s a myth. No way are tickets given away en masse. There may be a few charitable causes that get comps, but not many given away nowadays.

Going to football is also different when you're younger and go with your mates. I've been going on my own for years now and although I have a chat and a crack with the people around me it's not the same. Football was a full day out. Travel there and back with your mates, in the pub, a game of pool, straight out after the game. Standing in a pub on your todd is rubbish even if I happen to have a chat here and there. I'm now at the stage if it's live on TV id rather sell my ticket and watch it on the box.

Just out of curiosity, how much would a ticket have cost through an agency?
Mine was £37.50 in SS3 as a season ticket holder in the scheme which for last night which I understand was one of if not the cheapest available.
If the club are selling for less than that I'll be coming out of the scheme and won't bother with this competition in the future.

I am in 93:20 and paid £67.50 on the Cup scheme. Tickets through agencies in the 93:20 were selling for between £50 and £65. That included the Agencies mark up so they were clearly getting the tickets for less than that. I’m not sure about other parts of the ground mate.

Can anyone who was there last night confirm if there were City fans in the away section of SS3 and if there were, was there a decent number? The odd ticket popped up on the planner in there earlier in the week but unless I missed it, I never noticed the whole block of hundreds of seats ever showing for sale.

City had the away bit in SS3. Not many in there, but made a mockery of claims that Italians travel in large numbers.

Yes, all City.

Strangely was empty at kick off and then pretty much full by about 8:20.

Not many with colours on show, guessing it was some sort of off-site hospitality.

Picture was taken 8 mins into the game.
