Seat Counters - 2024/25

For what it's worth, last time we played Feyenoord at home in the CL during the 2017/18 season the attendance was 43,548. There will be more than that there tonight but we've had sell outs against the likes of Shakhtar and Sevilla in recent seasons so questions need to be asked of the pricing for this one. It's reasonable enough for me in SS1 at £25 as a cup schemer but £37.50 upwards in most other areas of the ground for the millionth CL group game in the past 14 seasons isn't going to appeal to everyone.

Anyone choosing to go on the last minute can kick up a ticket for a tenner. I just think there’s too many games and midweeks get harder with roadworks, parking restrictions and charges etc. I’ve emailed friends to try to give tickets away but got no takers

Also, with (cost of) Christmas coming up, people prioritize that over City and football matches.

Only if they know where to look Tim. Plenty of fans don't have that knowledge to look on the FB pages, instead choosing to check the official website.

Obviously, the other elephant in the room is that invariably some fans don't want to go because we're on a losing streak. Personally I'm the opposite. I wasn't going to Liverpool as it's a pretty shit away day compared to the likes of Leicester and Villa but after we got beat at Brighton I thought fuck it, I'm going!

Something a bit odd happened with block 318 yesterday i noticed, there have been roughly 500 to 550 tickets available for weeks up to yesterday, all of a sudden it went down to 50 yesterday, blocks 317 316 315 still showing 400 plus tickets left, have they given away hundreds in 318 ?

I noticed that myself. Doesn't seem to have happened with any of the other blocks as you say

And what is odder, all the tickets from about the 10 th row from the front to the back have been sold or showing as sold, with only the better tickets closer to the front available.
The views at the front are amazing,no one would buy tickets at the back if ones near the front were available

Edit

318 now sold out or unavailable.

It’s not just the pricing for this game though, the club are pushing everything to its absolute limit, and beyond if we’re truthful.
So these games, even with the more realistic pricing compared to the Premier League are going to be the first on people’s list to skip. When you factor in the parking nonsense as well, the attendances are going to be pretty bleak for all barring the biggest midweek fixtures in future I think, unless the club start to do something proactive, which they currently don’t appear interested in.
Look how many are available for Forest, I can’t believe they didn’t have the foresight to make that the cheap one for the Flexi Golds by the way.

The club have got a lot to think about.

That message comes up if transferring a ticket to another fan. Interesting seeing City adopt such a tough approach - or at least seeming to - given the issues with opposition fans being in home areas in the past and the club doing next to nothing about it.
Think it's because Dutch fans seem to have a bit of a reputation these days
