Seat Counters - 2024/25

Maybe its just because I live in Ireland and getting over to see City is a novelty, and it would be different if I was a season ticket holder, but I'm amazed at the amount of times I read on here and on X about fans who have tickets for home matches but don't go cos they can't be arsed or because of the weather.

If Forest hadn’t taken all 3 tiers of the away end. (Credit to them), I think City would have discounted tickets being sold in the South Stand L3 like they did against Brentford last season.
That’s right, Tim. Clearly, there is wider problems about ticketing and the efficacy of the group, but this is a win for City Matters.

We asked (Mark Todd in particular) that returned tickets from the visiting allocation be capped at £30. The Club have agreed and that should be policy from now on.

While a positive it is a double edge for those who can't go selling on ticket exchange being undercut. So I can see how it benefits the club too.

Thanks Alex

All the bullshit labels we get like Emptihad etc is because nobody at City has ever thought empty seats in the South Stand in full view of tv cameras was worth addressing.

There are 100 reasons why selling cheap kids season tickets behind the goal might be empty for midweek games - but ffs City sort it.

I know this wasn’t the case last night but can never get my head around why for some games the away team returns the top tier in the north stand which is then full of blues, yet there is a group on 20 empty seats behind the goal in full view of the tv cameras.

Last night somebody should have sole responsibility to make sure those blocks are full.

Whilst that is a benefit to the fans purchasing the £30 tickets, I don't think it helps fill the rest of the stands and possibly discourages it too whole people wait for the cheaper tickets to become available.
Plus, I'd rather have the 3rd tier of the away end empty rather than parts of the rest of the ground purely for aesthetic purposes.

-“It's only Forrest”
Never really understood that statement, do people actually go to watch other teams?
So all the no shows last night, will be back to watch the rags next game!
I agree mate..I go to watch City.. regardless of the opposition..yeah it's good when we play the so called bigger games but at the end of the day whether it's Madrid or Macclesfield it's City we go to watch

I think fans buying last minute tickets across the South Stand for the Brentford game got the £30 tickets too. There’s always going to be pros and cos with every ticket decision that’s made if we scrutinise in very fine detail. If the overall impact is positive that’s good enough for me.
