Seat Counters - 2024/25

Strange one this. We supposedly have 140,000 Cityzen members who normally struggle to get a ticket for the big games.

They can now buy up to 4 at a reasonable price for an FA Cup semi final at Wembley.

There must be a lot of them down south as well with decent transport options despite the KO time.

Thought they would be all over this like a rash. In the words of Delia..."Where are ya?"

Perhaps this is why City are trying to get rid of season ticket holders if they have first refusal and don’t want to go? Who knows.

Maybe we can call it a demonstration!

Other clubs used to Wembley visits still turn up even if they aren’t the most invested of fans. Couple that with it being only a few matches left to see KDB and you’re left with a puzzle.

I wonder why we are expanding our own stadium if we have a combination of ticket holders who don’t always go and a new generation that can’t get in.

I clearly don’t understand the issue though! Maybe give the people that go to the semi first refusal of the final if we get there.

it does state that further sales criteria will be announced following the last sales window. I'm not sure how much more they can open it up though as they won't put them on open sale due to the risk of Forest fans buying. Suppose it could open up to all members, not just Matchday members though.

Any idea when they are going to open up the remaining £30 tickets?
I think a lot of people, including myself, are waiting for those to open up because £130 for an adult + child in level 5 is outrageous especially considering the fact you’ve also got to factor in travel

Speaking personally I just don’t do away matches but hardly ever miss a home league match or FA Cup game. It is a personal choice and I can live with it.

They should have put them on sale to them from the start, or straight after. Most will have not planned to go by now. Bad planning by the ticket office. It was obvious this would be low demand.

I’d imagine for a lot of our fans it’s the cost of travel and general cost of attending Wembley that’s stopping people from attending.

Combine that with all the glory hunters not bothering unless it’s a big game

Does anybody have an accurate figure of how many we have actually sold as of today. I am in Block 136, £70, my Son and Granddaughter are in 135 and there didn't seem to be many left in them Blocks.

They’ll sell a fair few if they sell to previous purchase history.

Not sure Nottingham is a hot bed of prosperity? It's apathy plain and simple, the rest is just excuses. Our fan base is 100 x Forests. Many of our fans can't be arsed. Simple as that, and as somebody who has been to every final since the 2 against the Spuds in 81, it's pretty pathetic however you want to cut it..
29 visits for us since 2011 - Forest 1 visit since 1991 - I think that’s the big difference

why is it though, on that logic we have played at The Etihad, 500 times, the bigger picture should be City are trying to get into the FA Cup final, that used to be a big thing, it's clearly not now.

I hear you mate but wasn’t that my point - 29 visits in 14 years - compare that to when us FOC’s had waited 35 years since the LC final in 1976 - it was mad at Wembley when we played them in the 2011 semi - can’t just conjure up that sort of passion again - it’s human nature

And yet 9 months ago the Community Shield sold out. I am sure it did as I don't remember any issues about tickets
