Seat Counters 25/26

Bratislava and Lisbon were great trips last season.

Madrid is still one of the best trips, purely because of us all gathering in Plaza Major. The bars know the regular travellers and welcome us with open arms. It's noticeable that the stand-off approach from the police in the Plaza is very different to the stadium. I really don't get that. Last season we swerved the match and watched it in a bar.

You going to Bodo mate?
The way it stands (and also depending on whether we reach the Carabao Cup Semi Final) Bodo might be my 1500th City game

I don't hold much hope of getting a ticket,. especially with the Haaland factor for the locals, but I'm certainly daft enough to travel to the Arctic circle

What route have you found to get there thats cheap? The flights Tuesday to Thursday from Manc are £450+ any ideas as im thinking of jumping on this trip but cant afford them flight costs for me and my lad.
We got Tuesday to Thursday for £200. Via Porto Tuesday morning arrive in Madrid about 14.40. Direct flight home around midday on the Thursday. Nowhere near as cheap as some of the others have done but knocks a fair chunk off £450+.

Madrid went on Sale to Matchday Members yesterday morning, which led to block 629 selling its remaining tickets and block 633 getting to about 50 left.

Unfortunately about 150 were added to 633 taking the total up to 200ish.

We're now down 105 left all in Block 633.

I rekon they'll sell these and that'll be it, would be very surprised at this point if more blocks go on sale.

Stansted to madrid direct with ryanair. Out Wednesday back Thursday. 60odd quid PP. Prices have more than doubled since then though.
Bristol out Wednesday morning directly to Madrid
Madrid directly back to Bristol Saturday afternoon
Was still on SkyScanner yesterday (Monday)
£130 return with No Luggage, apart from Hand Luggage/Small Rucksack

Nevermind, 49 seats in 631 now been found from down the back of the Sofa.

122 left in 633.

Cup scheme members tickets won't show in those - otherwise their seats could be purchased leaving the cup scheme member without their seat.
In that case we will easily sell more than 40,000 which is a decent turn-out for the League Cup. Not expecting many from Brentford

Cheers for the update mate. So going off the last few days, we're selling about 600 tickets a day for this one. With a full 4 weeks to go to the match, there's a chance it comes close to selling out. I think if the kids weren't still at school and had broken up for Christmas it would be a definite sell out

Ticket sales for a game like this will typically surge throughout the last week before the game. It's not a high profile game and plenty of casual fans won't have even thought about it. I would have expected Brentford to bring more than that to be honest.
