Oh sorry, my typos give way once more. Lescott is the encapsulation of an English Center Back. I'm going on what I've been told by Fabian Z. It's apparent that Coates lacks the technicality exuded by Kompany and, allegedly, Savic. It seems that he's the extremity of the spectrum on which Lescott exists. If you get my drift.

What part of what Fabian said gave you that impression?

Practically all marauding center backs are capable of fulfilling a defensive midfield position or even midfield position or full back.

1. Not technical
2. More like Lescott.

Not so much that mate - its just the way he writes suggests someone to whom English doesn't come all that naturally - I'm just interested, is all.

No need to apologise mate - yep, English is my first language. I speak Spanish too, but when I write in Spanish it certainly betrays the fact that its not my first language.
