Seeding for Champions League - City in Pot 3, not pot 4

We play better against bigger and better teams. Plus if we get beat by Barcelona no disgrace, just cant wait to have the champs league logo and music at City.

I hope we are in a hard group and we get in 2nd or 1st... I've been waiting so long to hear that champions league music on at 5am in the morning (in aus).

Pinching myself still that we dont need to go through the qualifying round.

From a purely selfish point of view, I really want to get Spanish and/or Portuguese teams in the group stage. Providing Villarreal get through the play-off game there will be four Spanish teams (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Villlarreal) in pots 1 and 2, along with two Portuguese teams (Porto and Benfica, if Benfica get through). That makes 6. And if you take away the other three English teams (supposing that Arsenal qualify), who we cannot play, that means that there will be 6 Iberian teams out of 13 for us to draw.

This year I went to the away games against Lech Poznan, Juvetus and Aris Salónika, so I think I deserve something closer to home.

Come on, Platini and co. I'm sure you can fix the draw for me!

I don't mind who we get as I think our seeding doesn't reflect our ability; there will be more club's worrying about us than we are of them.

However, what pisses me off is that Arsenal, who finished 4th, would go straight into Pot 1 if they get through the qualifier. Just more proof that all the other club's are there just to make the numbers up and keep the old boy's cracking the lobster.
