'Alright blue' is a classic of mine. I work in the music industry so seeing someone in a city shirt in Europe or the US is a pretty big deal, always get a good chat on the go if I can. I worked with Beady Eye in April, and the only thing I said to Mr Gallagher was 'alright blue'. I'd like to think he appreciated it!
Was in Barbados this summer, walking down a busy street with last seasons 3rd top on when I hear "city....city"...I finished it off with "the best team in the land and all the world"
Made me smile all the rest of that night, quality :)
I live in Sydney,it's a backpacker destination so you see the odd one or two.
Though I've seen this one bloke in my area Randwick, a few times,I always give him the nod,get nothing. My mate said he probably thinks you're trying to pull him,it is Sydney.

In San Francisco a good few years ago, as we were disembarking from the ferry over to Alcatraz, I was wearing a City shirt, and a guy wearing a rags shirt was stood on the quayside waiting to board.....'Rag scum' I said, to which he replied 'Blue bastard'.....to the amazement of the Yanks around us, and the missus shaking her head muttering to herself 'Good God.....'
