That appears to be a bunch of blokes listening to a commentary, & some had already made up their mind before the game started, that they have seen enough of Fofana, in the two games he has figured, one of which he played for about 65 mins in a ten man team!

Going to be difficult to get his game together under those circumstances I think.

Latest fulham game here if anyone's got the time or patience to sit through it.

Fofana looks absolutely brilliant. By no means is he the finished article, but you can clearly see his talent. At the moment he tries to attack a little bit to much and too quick, which means he loses the ball a bit too often. But if he can work on his close ball control and strength to keep the ball, he will become an absolute monster of a midfielder! Because his passing and vision is excellent. You can see what he is trying to do, he just needs more game time at this level to get used to the intensity.

I don't think he was absolutely excellent (having just finished watching it) but I thought he was a damn sight better than the last game.

He was good. He gets a bit carried away at times and just overruns it but he'll have absolutely no problem physically. He's a fantastic athlete. Someone mentioned Sissoko from Newcastle and I can see that as in a similar manner he's capable of galloping away from people with ease. He just needs to work on his composure but it's easy to forget that this was his second ever professional start in a very challenging league. I can't see how he wouldn't end up at least a very decent premiership attacking mid if he just continued a natural development that you'd expect most kids with talent to do.

His passing in general was nice and crisp though he isn't on the ball as much as say someone like Yaya. Yaya nears 100 passes a game and i reckon this was just over a third of that at most and he didn't really do anything challenging and just kept it simple. Be interesting to see how this side of his game develops. It's a weird one, i'd not be surprised if he plateaued and didn't get much better, but at the same time i wouldn't be surprised if in 3/4 years he was a very capable midfielder and good squad member. He could go any way.

Stats coming in that fofanas pass rate today is 98%, not bad for a player who most of said is having a bad game?

Reading all the replies to that... seems the Fulham fans are really taking to him which is very good news. If he can look great in a side challenging for promotion in a very tough league after only 3 first team appearances ever, in a new environment surrounded by a very youthful team too then it bodes very well. Some players go missing in that scenario and he hasn't; he doesn't seem to strike me as the kind who lacks confidence.

Who knows, we could be developing ourselves a very powerful attacking midfielder capable of being a bit of a match winner. Either way, we'll make a decent bit of cash from him at least i'd expect.

If he can get a bit more useful when defending, a bit more workrate without the ball, then all he needs to do is prove he is capable of playing in the kind of passing game City played v Palace, without wasting the ball, imo. If he can apply himself to that, he could be utterly devastatiing imo. He has power, pace & shooting ability beyond most of the other kids & can beat a man with ease. No use if the ball bounces off him & he doesn't cover though.

I don't see why he can't come back from Fulham as a genuine option.

Anyone watching the Fulham vs. Brighton game tonight to see how the lad gets on?

According to Loan Watch in the matchday programme, he's been doing very well for the Cottagers.
