That reminds me I must get some of the artist known as symbols stuff downloaded, the little maestro could knock out a tune.

I did that the other day. Got 80% of his catalogue and realised how much I didn't appreciate his late 70s/ early 80s work ('For You, 'Prince' the really good 'Dirty Mind') as a kid, as I would have 10 at the latest work! My big bro had his stuff and 'Controversy' was the one to catch my ear.

I need to start learning German. I’ve been to Germany five times and can’t do simple things like order a drink or greet somebody. Literally every person in service from bars to shops to hotels can speak excellent English. It’s embarrassing. No excuse for it.

I've picked up enough to shop, eat, and generally get by but I couldn't express myself in a proper conversation. I work in english, I socialise mostly in english and I watch mostly english tv. All too easy and i've been too lazy. doesn't really matter now as I don't think i will be here much longer.
