I agree with this, although hughes said last week he wasn't going anywhere this shite doesn't seem to go away..
 
I remain unconvinced that Robinhos heart is really in the City job , and it looks to me like the stuff he's heard 'on the grapevine' about Barcelonas reported interest in him has gone to his head .

I genuinely believe that he feels Hughes has let him down by not acquiring world class names at the club , and isn't really lookin' likely too ..... and i really think that he believes , in his own mind , that he CAN be the best player in the world if he joins a club like Barcelona ..... more so than he ever could be here ....... i'm not so sure that this is just newspaper 'claptrap'.

He seems to spend far too long on the 'sidelines' here to me to really want to help us with our push to be the best , and aside from 'fits and starts' of brilliance at odd times , has simply 'talked a good job'.

The trouble for him , as he found at Real Madrid , is that i suspect that even if he joins Barcelona he'll be far from a first team fixture all the time ....... Like Madrid , they won't put up with his annoying inconsistency , especially away from home ........ they want to win , and win big , and unless Robinho can prove the same they'll soon tire of him.
 
I just wish he would stop giving interviews. NDJ has learned that the hard way niw Robi needs too also.

I think he will be great in the side we have now.

Just to point out during Robinho's last season when Madrid last won La Liga he started 28 out of their 38 leauge games scoring 11 goals and making 14. They didn't become tired of him, they wanted to use him as bait to get who they thought was a superior player in Ronaldo and Robinho wasn't best pleased about this and wanted out

just been on ssn saying he wants to be the best player in the world and would be better playing for barca to achieve his goals.

well i must say is he bottling it because of competition from bellers and petrov, and doesnt want to stay and fight to earn this recognition and choosing the easy option out in going to barca.
