First Cup Semi Final In years, Local derby, City probably only having 39,000 tickets to sell to home fans. I think it will definitely sell out.

Even a few seasoncard holders might buy tickets :-)
42.000 home fans

Why should a season ticket holder get tickets if a citycard holder has been more games? My ticket cost 45.75 for Chelsea so no way does a season ticket holder put more money into the club than a city card holder who attends regularly. According to bluemoon only 500 plus have bought tickets for spurs. I've got mine, now I'm not saying I'm the biggest fan, many deserve a ticket more than me, but I will be cheesed off if like hamburg home I'm struggling for a ticket again.

Why should a season ticket holder get tickets if a citycard holder has been more games?

Pretty obvious really.... A S/C holder pays his money upfront and in my case has done for 30 years, quite often not knowing which division we'll be playing in the following season....

Been like that since the start... I suffered it in the early years... It's called pecking order!

Sorry not obvious to me. It should go off the number of games attended. So a fan who has been attending as a citycard holder for say 5 years is less deserving than someone who bought a Seasoncard this year for the first time.

So tell me why that logic is obvious?

Not asking you to agree with it... just telling you how it is and why it's right... They pay their money upfront.. the club regards this as a special loyalty for the reasons I gave above... When you've had your season card for a long time, you will feel the same.

me personally I've had mine for a long time, I'm in the cup direct scheme.. been to every game (inc Pompey on a sunday lunch KO) except Wigan, Brum & Anfield... As I have to go to China with my job..

I think the loyalty point scheme is fair.

Of course season ticket holders should get first dibs.

Ridiculous to expect anything else.

Yes but im still struggling to see why it's right. It should quite simply go off the number of games you have attended.

No one is doubting your support, and quite obviously you are deserving of a ticket. But why is it right using the scenario I have provided.

Whether seasoncard or citycard the ones who attend most games deserve the tickets. Ive been going 25 years, but clearly to you, a fan who started going this year and bought a seasoncard is more deserving of a ticket.

Thats the attitude of a club not a million miles down the road

The real question of coruse is whether, if we beat the rags in the semi, Oasis can be persuaded to reform to do a cup-final song.

'Robi's going to wembley, his knees have gone all trembly'.

That kind of thing.

;-)
