Sergio 5 year deal ''now done''

Sergio Aguero's new deal reduces annual FFP hit from £16.1m to £11.2m. Great business by MCFC to not only lock Aguero up, but also save £'s. Calculation based on declining amortised xfer fee + reported weekly pay decreasing from £200k to £150k (took long-term security, it seems)

Has Wenger passed it yet?

Masterstroke by City to announce a deal a day this week in the lead up to PL kick off, making sure we dominate the headlines before the big kick off

Good news. Already a City legend. The skeleton of the team is being re-calcified with new contracts offered to the likes of Kompany, Silva and Aguero. That is one of the advantage we have over the other contenders- these world class players have played together for more than 3 years now with some remarkable and dramatic experiences along the way and are strengthened by that.

Aguero just needs to kick away the injury problems for good.

Bloody Hell! How good are our executive/ management team, talk about doing things the right way, securing the spine of our team on incentive/success based contracts is f#*kin brilliant. Silva 5 years, Vinny 5 years, Kun 5 years, just need to give YaYa a 5 tier contract and that'll be that for the summer!

Don't be silly, Butthead taking a dump would still get top billing, I just hope he's constipated.

Sorry Quim, no offence meant, but the new contracts this week have been far more exciting and enjoyable than the transfer window. Absolutely brilliant!

Just watched the interview with him on the OS. Top bloke. But he wants to sort that hairstyle out. He looks like a Blazing Squad wannabe.

apparently it was the opportunity to be associated with the blazing squad that swung it - no coincidence that within 2 days of the bbc 3 programme he has signed a new deal
