What gets me is the game and certain matches and outcomes are trying to be manipulated by a media, especially Sky with them almost demanding a player is not allowed to play.

If the ref sends him off so be it but he doesn't, is 5 yards away and he doesn't even give a free kick as he no doubt saw no contact with his face as shown in video of the incident.

At what point do we go over every game and decision asking should x,y and z have been sent off for that?

It's getting silly and worse, it's all very subjective with a media dictating things as they hunt a story.

this may have been discussed but if Aguero is charged, if we appeal would that then make him available for the derby but then receive a further match ban after!? Fergie did it with Rio against us a few years back didn't he?

Have you seen the vid from the left, rather than the right where Reids head disguises where Agueros arm is actually placed?

Bob on there. I think Reid's elbow behind Aguero's head also causes an illusion that looks like he's pulled back. From the ref's angle and from the other angle there is nothing wrong with what he did.

Fair play to Bilić though playing it down, he could quite easily of ramped it up by playing his team don't get any decisions card

Pretty sure they changed the rules after that to 'fast track' appeals so that they were dealt with before the next round of matches were due?

If the ref says he didn't see it when he was looking straight at it then I presume he will never ref another game as he will be admitting he is completely incompetent, corrupt or both.

If he didn't see it he's incompetent, if he did see it and did nothing then he's a bit shit. Tough call for the referee that. I have to say I'm relaxed about the possibilty that Sergio gets banned because his absence provides an opportunity for Pep to give Mourinho something different to think about.

Sky pretend they don't want one of the best players in the history of the Prem banned, as it will 'spoil the game' & then go out of their way to get him banned.

He shouldn't be throwing his arm back like that anyway. It looked clear intent to me from that.

The trouble is that the media are clearly intent upon influencing the outcome of these incidents.

If they were impartial then they would draw attention to the actions of the likes of Fellaini , Rooney as clear examples of players who regularly step over the lines of what is acceptable , but they never do. The way in which United's players are allowed to escape such media scrutiny is a disgrace, but obviously the FA and the media are not prepared to upset the status quo where the " biggest team in the world " are concerned.
