I have said for weeks he is on the decline.

Love him, but Pep will move him on is what I feel.

Sane has been really poor for 2 months now and the moment we don't win Kun is the one getting the brunt of it..

Sane was shocking today and has been for a while,

GJ hasn't scored for even longer and missed a penalty most recently...again if that was Kun we would still be hearing about it.

At the moment Aguero is far out performing both Sane and GJ

I think the difference is age. Sane, Jesus et al are given some leeway because we expect them to improve. Serg is at an age where his career is probably going in the opposite direction.

it is about performances on the pitch and at present he is out performing both those two every time any of them are on the pitch..

Yes they are the future but that shouldn't be an influence on what we need right now and Kun is playing far better than those two mentioned (and you could also include Benrardo Silva in that who missed a very good chance early on).....

If Sanchez is bought its Sane who should be the nervous one.

We were lacking up front today. It didn't feel like we had one of the premier league's best ever strikers on the pitch before or after Jesus went off. I didn't feel we had that player leading the line that Keg, Silva, Sterling could look to to play 1/2s off or who would put away a chance it they could just create it.


He's running out of time IMO. I want to believe he can get this right and hit another level, doing what Pep wants and scoring 35+ goals a season, nothing would make me happier than Aguero becoming another key piece in this side... but I also think that a world class striker is the one thing we're missing. We've not got a Messi or Lewandowski putting away every chance that the ridiculously talented side can create and it almost cost us vs. Newcastle and it will cost us in the latter end of the CL.

Aguero has been that in the past, Jesus could be that in the future, neither is that currently and if this continues through to July I doubt Pep will give him a third season to click with the system.

A couple of points: 1) This is the Aguero thread not the Sane thread 2) I don't get why posters are getting upset about people making critical comments about Aguero's performance in the Aguero performance thread. That's the point of the thread. It's not an agenda, it's an opinion.
