Sergio Aguero - 2019/20 Performances

I make that 13 PL games with Rags and Chelsea to come this season. In fairness you should really point out that Aguero didn't feature at all in five of those matches and three of those that he started in were at Anfield where all our players seem to turn to shit. Of the remaining five that Aguero started Spurs last Sunday was the first one we didn't win.

So, he scored 0 goals in how many starts? Does this make him a better option than Gabby in such games or Bernie as a false 9. Bernie has scored 6 goals in those games vs 0 for Sergio.

Madness - he has scored a goal something like every 70 odd minutes this season. Thought he played well at Spurs too.

Spurs fans behind me could not believe he was subbed.

In terms of home games Sergio is still top 3 in the league. Away from home he is just another good striker. Fans are mixing up his home and away form and don't realise the significant discrepancy between them.
What are our options then? He's still easily our best striker, our best attacking option & our biggest player. He's more inconsistent, but would you swap him for Sterling or Jesus? I'd have him in a 2 with Jesus or have Gabby playing LW. Madrid's defence has been pretty good this season, so making him the sole focal point would be a mistake.

Play Bernardo as a false 9, his record against top teams away from home is exceptional, much better than Kun's. Kun is our biggest player in terms of his record, not in terms of his current ability. Form wise he is far from being the 1st name on the team sheet, not even close.

Spurs are pathetic this season. We had about 50 attempts in both league games and scored just 2 goals. Liverpool away Sergio let the team down, you expect from him to make a difference and he did feck all despite having chances to score/assist.

I'm probably harsh and only because a lot of posters are completely blind about Sergio's shortcomings this season just because he scored many goals against rubbish teams. He hasn't made any difference in any big game this season so far. If he doesn't show improvement against Leicester away, I wouldn't start him against Madrid. You need players who are at the top of their game right now, not players with exceptional careers who are not performing at their best this season.

Load of shite

Calling Kun out on this thread? Goodluck with that mate.
