He was quality yesterday and the whole team were desperate to make it happen for him. That gives me confidence for Saturday because they'll all be desperate to win the CL and we'll see that extra level again of performance I'm sure.

I'd love a 4-0 at halftime game where we can relax and enjoy it. But Aguero to come on and score a winner... after yesterday it's not as unlikely as I had thought before the game!

Haven’t we been spoilt over the last 13 years?

When you look at what we paid for all those players ( Sergio was the most expensive at £35m). None of them were highly rated by the media when they came in but all became world-beaters. What a bloody great job our recruitment team did from 2008 to 2010.
I am as guilty as anyone for moaning about our club and the way it is sometimes run off the field (ticketing fiasco etc). But the reality is we are the best run club in world football in the area which matters most.
