My question is how likely is Agüero? I am with most people when I think he would fit in at City, but what are chances that he actually comes?

As i understand it his only option is Juve, no champions league football this coming season. So id say we were in with a pretty good shout.

Real Madrid is lurking around though. You just know it :)

The worry would be if Tevez is briefing against the club and our owners while they are holed up in the Argentina camp during the Copa.
Plus, while Tevez has the loathsome Kia pulling his strings, Aguero supposedly takes much of his advice from his father -in-law — the frankly unstable Diego Armando Maradona.

I got shot down for this before but I think we looked better as a team without Tevez towards the end of last season, beat the Scum in the FA Cup Semi Final too without him, convincingly.

For me it is not the end of the world that Tevez wants to go, in a way I am glad because I am sick to death of the drama and baggage that comes with him.

Hopefully we will be able to replace him adequately though.

I agree 100%. he is not as important as a lot of blues think. If it was NDJ or Vinny wanting to leave i would probably be more upset!

This is the way I see it. Blue tinted specs off.

Juventus- we can offer more money than them and CL football.
Real- Atletico don't want to sell to them. Normally they would beat us if not for the Atletico-Real rivalry.
Barca- too expensive, they are having a hard enough time with Cesc and Sanchez.
United- they already have too many strikers on the books.
Chelsea- this is our main competition, but Torres or Drogba would have to be dropped.
Inter- Don't think they want to pay 40m when they have Eto'o.
AC Milan- too expensive, they have Ibra.

The planets are in alignment on this one.

^Actually, Juventus now have money and can give Aguero hefty wages. 200k I've heard.

Yes, but we can afford his buyout as well. Juve aren't looking to pay the 41m buyout which is why they are negotiating.

Hell, we'd actually be saving money by paying him 200 and getting Tevez off the books at 250.
