I think Aguero would link up with Tevez brilliantly, be able to do most of the jobs Sanchez could do & would score more goals.

Can't undrstand why we don't seem to be interested.

Mancini often plays one up top and if that continues, and if we sign Sanchez (or even Mata instead), it'd often be.

Silva - 1 of Tevez/Balotelli/Dzeko/Aguero - Sanchez

Bench: 3 of Tevez/Balotelli/Dzeko/Aguero

Unrealistic.

Can anyone tell me what Aguero is like playing from the left and cutting in? Has he ever played that role?
He can play either wing, AMC, solitary striker or in a front 2.

Aguero and Tevez are too much alike for us to chase Aguero whilst Tevez remains. Mancini bought Dzeko because he offers something entirely different from Tevez.

Reports in La Stampa that Sergio Aguero has agreed terms with Juventus. 4 year deal at €7.5m per annum. The club now negotiating a fee with Atlético.

Looks like the may be eager to spend their newly acquired €120m.

La Stamp is owned by the Agnelli family also.

We've offered 35 Million for Aguero whilst Atletico want 40. The deal should complete in my opinion.

More pie in the sky from Italian side / press.

They also said they were signing tevez and numerous other players.

I would be astounded if a player of his calibre ended up playing in th Italian league in his prime let alone for juve a side without champions league football.

Just this week you had the inter Milan chief saying the top Italian sides can't compete for the best players like tevez these days. they can't afford the fees or wages with the Italian league being so far behind the prem in terms of tv deals, sponsorship, mechandising, gate receipts etc.

It's just propaganda from media owned by the clubs owners, really can't see it happeicing with the likes of Chelsea, real interested maybe even barca if the rumours of them selling David villa are true.

With additional recruits i.e. CMF and RMF of the ilk like Mata/Pastore and Sanchez/Hazard we will be playing a lot more 4231 than 433. Barry will be the victim of this. We already have the personel to do 433 when required but we are short, especially in the middle, for 4231. I don't buy the Balo on the left of a front three.
