I would assume we would have rock solid non disclosure agreements with all agents, the player and with Athletico, it may be if Atheltico said stuff it would have legal consequences. It is also far more professional and better for them if they come out as and when the deal is done.

I think their hope has been renewed because its being reported that a "mystery" English club is at the table as well. Clearly this is enough to convince them that they're contenders.

From a marketing point of view it would be great however I doubt it.

also, cant see there being a need for a special offer on his name/number, these shirts will fly out anyway !

I have a really bad feeling about it. Atletico would surely do business with us, more than with Real, they dont want to lose their best star to the city rival.
But what would Aguero say if he has both offers?:(

I hope he comes in the next few days. They said with their agent that he wants his future sorted right after the Copa.
Until there is no formal offer from Real, and it is is unlikely Chelsea will bid for him we seems like to be in driving seat.

But it is too easy, and no easy things exist around this kind of big transfer. Especially with City involved.:)

If Real comes in then that over for us, Aguero choses them, one less potential buyer for Tevez and we still have to find a good striker instead of Tevez. Worst possible scenario.
