Sergio Aguero

So we have ambitions on being the best but were going to sell sergio to real next season. No. Chance. At. All. He'll have to throw his toys right out the pram and hes not that kind of player.

The inferiority complex is alive and well on here, with people seeming to think these clubs will just come and take Aguero if they please. It's not as if Real Madrid haven't sent strong feelers City's way before and the only reason they haven't made an official bid is because City have told them to piss off... as City are likely to do again. Suarez (a comparable talent) is probably more likely to join Real Madrid since Liverpool have less leverage to hold on to him. And Aguero signed a new contract extension in the summer just gone, he seems to adore being our club icon. Plus he has been liberated by Pellegrini in our less stagnant attacking system. He'd be Messi and Ronaldo's sidekick at best in La Liga, maybe even lower since Neymar (the golden boy) and Bale (the most expensive player ever) have arrived.

Sadly he'll be gone in the Summer.

It won't be easy for him to leave, but the guy deserves a real crack at the La Liga title and more importantly the Champions League trophy. Barca or Madrid will give him that opportunity. Nowhere else.

Says who? Id slap at least a 60-70 tag on him now.

Why is it we don't have buy out clauses,or do we?....I've never heard of someone meeting a buy out clause for one of our players.

-- Tue Oct 29, 2013 5:32 pm --

no need for a clause. agueros contract runs until 2017, which means that any club that wants him must pay our asking price.

the other way aguero can leave is to put in bad performances, but he wont do that because he wants to keep his place in the argentina squad.

Plus the fact he is a man of honour and a true proffesional as each of his performances to date testify.

we need a world class winger who can also defend. agiuero is actually surplus, we got plenty strikers (negredo, dzeko, jovetic) who can take his place.
