Denayer is a superb talent, but he spent last season in the pub league SPL; Stones was immense against us last season, as he was against Chelsea. When Denayer has two solid seasons in a proper league like Stones has, then he can be compared; until he does, it's like comparing Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Matic.

Obviously not, hence why league performances over a sustained period and the quality of opposition in that time should be used to establish a player's ability/value, and any of the teams relegated from the Premier League last season would have easily won the SPL; that's why it's impossible to put Denayer in the same bracket as Stones.
