Sergio's Injury

Time to step up Mr Jovetic.
A real shame for Sergio but fuck me if we can go to Bayern and score without him then what is there to fear. Liverpool ???
Do you honestly think they will come here and have the time and space that Spurs gave them yesterday??? Not a chance.

I'll believe it when the club announce it
More reliable than papers who are speculating, but what City said about Kompany was that he had a thigh strain wen it turned out he had torn a groin muscle

No-one will know how long he's going to be out yet, it depends how well the injury responds to treatment.

We'll cope just fine. Alot's happened since Saturday but didn't we score 5 more after he had gone off? (apologies if that's wrong, but you see my point i'm sure). We also managed to score 3 in Munich with no Aguero at all. This is why we have the squad that we have, to cope with such unfortunate circumstances as this. 6 weeks, (if that's what it is), means a February come back and a February come back means a title run in with a refreshed Aguero raring to go. We'll be fine.

If jovetic is half as good as the other signings gave been (fern, negredo, navas) we have nothing to fear.

Gives us another dimension that teams won't cope with.

Big blow for us but at least it gives Jovetic a chance to show us what he can do and get some game time.

Be interesting to see if him and Dzeko can form a partnership.

Where does that leave Negredo? Jovetic is a tricky-feet little bastard and I think him and the beast could forge just as devastating-a-partnership as him and Kun's, with Negredo getting even more goals. I like Dzeko, think he's conducted himself well in his time here given his fluctuating form, but I would much prefer to see Jovetic given some game time in Aguero's absence.

True, but as the season progresses and we are playing 2 games a week, as much as we would all love it, I don't think Negredo will be playing every game.

We haven't seen the full potential of either Dzeko or Jovetic yet this season, but I know that's down to not wanting to change a winning team and Jovetics injury.
