So let me get this straight. We are looking for a serial canal pusher who floats undected through the streets of Manchester waiting for pissed up students!? Does this man/woman wear a cape, speak in a cockney accent and run across rooftops? Usually serial killers have a far greater MO or ritual than pushing people into a canal.
I'm sorry for the people who have died and their families, it's a shocking and terrible tragedy for all of them and I can't begin to imagine what sort of grief they are going through. But canal/rivers and drink/drugged up people are a dangerous combination. To put it into perspective apparantly 15,000 bikes are pulled out every year of Amsterdam canal, just saying.
