In the 70's growing up watching TV I thought the world used to be black & White.

It does seem odd, but could it not just be that the canals have been cleaned up and bars have sprung up along side them?.
Pissed up young guys walking by the side of them are coming to grief.

I hope that is all it is and measures are being taken to make it harder to fall in.

I know slightly off the topic, but I live in Sale and work evenings, there is a house opposite us that have about 3/4 police cars/vans and 1/2 ambulances at it every night, for a couple of hours, sometimes they go away and come back later! Nobody is ever taken away(nice area) this has been going on for about 3 or 4 months now, the only reason i'm posting this is tonight there were 7 police cars and 2 ambulances there for 3/4 hours, yet again no1 taken away, i'm sure theres a problem there as a woman (bit of a pisshead) lives there with her kid, i feel sorry for her! What i'm trying to get at is the police surely could be spending their time more productively! A person has to be missing for x amount of time blah blah blah, I know this lad wouldn't of been saved but i'm sure some wouldv'e been!

More importantly, have they nicked that peeping Tom who operates in that area yet? I've heard some days, he doesn't move from his window for 3-4 hours at a time. The woman in the chippy across the road has had to call the old bill on a daily basis, she's that concerned.
