Sevilla v City post match thread

Rarely will you have a game when no player in the starting eleven scores below 8. To some extent the openness of the opposition played into our hands, but that shouldn't detract from a quite scintilating performance.
Kolarov gets a below 8 - didn't stop one cross!

Didn't think you was 'having a go' mate. Just a genuine observation as to what a choice to make.

I.e. Keep the team that beat Sevilla, or introduce either of Silva, Aguerooooooo, or KDB????

I still remember when I thought Ged Brannan might have a positive impact...

I was always a Groenendijk man myself

Delph was warming down and when he ran over from the half way line we were doing the 'ohhhhhh' hands in the air and the 'wayyyy' after he slid on on all fours in front of us.

All the away end were singing 'we want Delph' and he came back and did it again with Eli and Clichy.

Was a brilliant night lads!

Sterling was sensational today. Fernandinho was all over the place, controlling the middle like a boss. Navas' pace was excellent. Yaya and Bony had good movement. Defense was shaky a bit at times but still good. Tonight was an a very positive display by the squad.

I haven't read the thread, but just wanted to come on and say how FUCKING BRILLIANT the team was tonight!

I mean every fucking single one of them!! That was the performance we have been waiting for in Europe.

So all I have to say to Platini is FUCK OFF YOU PRICK!! because CITY WERE FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!

Very strong assured performance this evening, i don't think they were 100% on their game, but that has to be mostly down to city.

Otamendi is proving to be a great signing.

You are a constant performer mate, but not a night for negatives really.

To be fair, Kolarov was shocking defensively, yet again.

When we play like that, and have solved the Yaya conundrum with a solid midfield, he's the last weak link in the side. And it's a big weak link.

Still worry that it'll cost us in a tight game, almost did just that in the derby.

Hopefully Clichy will be fit and in form for the knockout stages.

Left back has to be a priority in the summer though, no doubt.
