I wouldn’t really begrudge my taxpayer money being used to give her a fair trial. That’s how civilised societies should operate.
Yes you're right, I can't really argue against that, but I will.
What on earth are you talking about?
She's a terrorist sympathiser with 3 kids, and you advocate her return to the UK so she can be tried and convicted and imprisoned at our cost?
Leave her where she is, I don't see anything wrong with that. She was more than happy to go and join isis, and you think that's OK?
Ban me if you want I don't give a fuck, but welcoming terrorists back to our shores is just wrong and you need to have a fucking re-think
(Don't ban me)

I think she should face the consequences of her actions, in a British court as a British citizen.

I don't think anyone is suggesting welcoming her back, just bringing her back to face trial.

As a taxpayer, i'd rather not pay for her repatriation, trial, and subsequent imprisonment.

As a taxpayer I'd rather not pay for bombs sold to other countries, paying for fraudulent firms that are pally with the Gov and subsidising big business to fleece me.

But bringing back a silly girl to charge her is pushing the boundaries of decency...?

The mindset of people on this thread that have this argument against the woman, based upon the above, is beyond crazy.

I think you're probably right.
But a part of me doesn't want this woman back on British soil, because of her actions.
I concede though, you are absolutely correct.
Sometimes my emotions get the better of me, especially when it comes to the subject in hand, for reasons best kept to myself.
I thank you for the debate, I'll bow out of this one now.
Cheers ric

I believe she had dual nationality before being stripped of British nationality so technically she's not British but Bangladeshi, how many are arguing about her repatriation there I wonder.
She didn't have Bangladeshi nationality, she has a tenuous link to Bangladeshi nationality through a parent or grandparent, I don't know which.
Much the same as the English lads who end up playing for the Republic of Ireland football team.
If I'm not mistaken, the Bangladeshi government have refused to recognise any entitlement she might have to Bangladeshi nationality.
So that makes her as British as you, me or anyone else with a British passport.
The British government can't just wash her hands of her.
A case in some international court would be interesting.

I neither read the mail or support farage (not saying you accused me of either)
But it seems to me that dragging this woman through the courts and putting her in prison would be a bit pointless, and costly.
Pointless?
Giving people a fair trial before pronouncing judgement and sentence is what makes us the society and nation we are.
It's what stops the weak being thrown into dungeons on the whim of the powerful (in this case a Home Secretary) because it might suit them politically.
Some of the "let her rot" brigade need to think through the ultimate consequences of what they are advocating.
