Both full backs, the past it Vieira and the waste of sperm Jo are/were all worse.

Whilst they were poor they all contributed to the game in one way or another. Boateng played some good balls in, Vieira made some good tackles and won some fouls (a la Barry), Jo plays a half decent role as target man (when he gets the ball, even though he does little with it, the whole pitch tends to revolve around him), Kolarov while defending poorly still applied pressure down their right side. What did SWP contribute to the game at all? What position was he supposed to be playing? All he did was lose the ball over and over and over again. And when he didn't lose the ball he passed it to another player. Isn't he supposed to knock the ball past his man and sprint past him?

Was he supposed to be playing on the left? I got the feeling we were trying to play him in the Silva role. I can't recall seeing him on the left.

Swp stuck his head in to stop a possible goal and put the effort in.

He is never going to regain any form when he plays one game in every 8 or 9.

His last game was Juventus in a nothing match.

He then has to play on the left to accomodate Johnson (Who was hardly any better!)
