Keepers are the same as outfield players. Their form fluctuates. Tonight's performance has been coming for a few weeks. But he is still the man.

He was poor against Bolton too, in my humble etc (despite the clean sheet, he was very indecisive at times).
That said...
Form is temporary and class is permanent.
I believe Shay Given is a first class footballer. An awful lot of people would agree with me.
Others, on here, do not. Fair enough; everybody's entitled to an opinion.
But wherever you stand on his merits, please, please, please... let's not start a witchunt just as we're about to enter the home straight of our most important season in years.
Now, please read the above opinion substituting every other player's name for Shay Given's.
And also you may as well do it substituting the manager's name too.
Nobody is going anywhere until this season ends, at least - for better or worse.
There's a far greater chance of it being 'for better' if we all pull in the same direction.
